A Study On Existence From The Point Of The Philosophy Of Logic

Philosophers have been interested in existential issue since ancient Greece. So far,this issue is still one of the most heated issues discussed by philosophers. For the sameproblem, philosophers give different concerns over time. Controversy about the existentialissue is also reflected in different ways. With the birth of modern logic, research onexistential issue also entered a new period.This paper try to sort out a historical clue on existential issue from a large number ofresearch materials. From Parmenides to the birth of modern logic, research aboutexistential issue had reach a peak. After entering the modern, according to humanism andscientism points, existential issue is divided into two roads, which are logical philosophyand phenomenology. The main purpose of this paper is to place the existential issue on thelogic philosophy areas, thus clarifies the scope of the article.After entering the modern, this issue produce a strong vitality. Through in-depthstudy of logic philosophers, this issue is divided into two parts: what is existence and whatexists. According to philosophers of logic about this two questions, analyzes in detail thereason why they stick to their own view. Because different stick to different views onexistential issue. causing philosophers debate about nominalism and realism. Nominalismfundamentally opposed to abstract entity, against a virtual memory object ontology, realistthink we have to accept abstract entities. Different perspectives lead nominalism andrealism never stop argument. On the other hand, some philosophers give existence a newproperties, such treatments is consistent with ordinary language, and the same time, thisproject can avoid a large number of complex technical problems. Using this method canbe more convenient to solve the issue on exist.
