This article introduces political, economic and cultural relationship between the central dynastyand YI nationnanity under the background of the resources competition in the northwest ofGuizhou during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The article uses historical data and the method ofanthropology to analysis the process and reason and motivation of interaction between YInationnanity and the central government of this region. And put forward some suggestions how toconstruct a kind healthy competition mechanism of national resource allocation and sharing in thisregion. The article is divided into six parts:The first part. This part introduce the research significance of the article, the content and methods,as well as the geographical situation of the Northwest Guizhou and formed evolution alsodescribes the distribution of the various ethnic groups in the northwest of Guizhou. Various ethnicgroups, for different reasons in different period aggregated in northwest Guizhou, formed thecomposite mixed dwelling pattern in the long history, this pattern became the natural conditionsof various nationalities contact interaction and conflict of interest.The second part discusses political relationship,makes a general introduction about Yi Chieftainsystem of the northwest of Guizhou, made a detailed analysis of the political relations among theYi chieftain and the central government as well as the surrounding chieftain and the various ethnicgroups. Both sides live in harmony when there are Rational allocation of resources, balancednational development and expressed national rights. Conversely, it will lead to imbalancerelationship faced with the interests of the reallocation, reallocation of resources, the re-adjustment of the relationship and reconstruct of order.The third part discusses economic relationship. This chapter describes the system of the region’s land regime, agricultural production, commercial and industrial situation. Economic relationsis an extension of the political relations, in turn, it affect political relations. Han immigrantsenter the northwest Guizhou, scattered to various places, lived with minority. All of the peopleinfluence each other, and strengthen the economic and cultural exchanges, thus has madesignificant progress in agricultural production, mining and handicrafts also be further developed,The northwest of Guizhou had been rapid progress in this period. The northwest of Guizhou ’sdevelopment, is the result of the economic and cultural exchanges between the people of all ethnicgroups, also the result of the Han and minorities ’s efforts.The fourth part discusses cultural relations. This chapter describes the historical changes abouteducation and " Small cultural tradition " of the culture including the folk songs, xiaodiao, filialsong andsanhua, describes the formation of the folk culture and regional culture.Cultures of allethnic groups break through the restrictions of the ethnic community in the long-term interaction,towards regional culture, and formed the similar value orientation. Cultural confluence is veryobvious among folk songs, xiaodiao, folk beliefs.Eethnic cultures change to the regional culturestill forward.The fifth part discusses the immigrants and the edge ethnic groups between Yi and Han. This chapter describes “the Chuanqing” and”the Caijia” which generated in the process that the Yipeople interact with the immigration as well as identification after the founding of the nation. Thecultural conflict among immigrants and the Yi people and newborn ethnic groups under resourcecompetition scene tell us the significance how to create a harmonious and peaceful atmosphere,promote common prosperity.Part VI, Conclusion.Summarize ethnic relations in different periods in northwest Guizhou.National policies about ethnic equality, national unity, common prosperity of all ethnic groups hadbeen executed after the founding of the People’s Republic of China.The allocation of resources,sharing and competitive platform be basically established. However, we also can’ t ignore that“in fact inequality” still exists.
