As a form of human community, it has been a significant impact since it formed.National problems caused by the presence of the multi-nation are not only related to the multi-nation country’s development, but also affect the relationship among countries. Whether it is in history or reality of time and whether it is in domestic or international of the scope,national problems are important phenomenon that can not be ignored in the historical development of human society.If we solve national problems well,we can not only achieve nation’s harmony and development, but only make country prosperity and stability.Further more we can promote the advancement of social history.On the contrary, if we can’t solve national problems well,we will have constant conflicts, even have frequent wars,which affect social stability and harmony. This situation becomes social factors that hinder social progress.Nation and national problems caused by nation are complicated. How to properly treat national problems wasn’t solved well before Marx.Marx’s national thought is based on the basic principles of historical materialism and explains scientificly the generation and development of the nation, the path of the root causes of national contradictions and national problems. It becomes an important part of the theory of Marxism. Marx’s national thought provides a theoretical guidance to scientific understanding of nation and national problems. At the same time, it provides reference for the practical guidance for solving national problems in modern society.According to the Marxist view, national problems have different forms in different historical periods. As time goes on, the theme of today’s world have become from revolution and war into peace and development. And the form of national shows new trends. But peace and development in today’s world is a concentrated expression of the various contradictions.To this aim, the paper is based on the interpretation of Marx’s classic original conception and is aimed at solutions in contemporary Chinese national problems and the Contemporary World National problems. As an in-depth inquiry, the national thought of Marxism is designed to studied the idea of the national ideology of Marxism-resources. It provides theoretical support to understand and resolve the national problems better.Only correct theoretical guidance can solve the nationa problems correctly. Only then can we promote the construction of a harmonious society in China and the building of a harmonious world which can last peace and have common prosperity.To study Marx’s national thought, we need to clarify its development stage, fully understand its rich content and further more grasp the essence in order to play its important role to solve practical national problems. The paper starts from the social and historical conditions and the theory origin of the formation of Marx’s national thought, systematically analyzes the formation and development of Marx’s national thought, mainly summarizes the main content of Marx’s national thought, deeply study the theoretical value and practical significance of Marx’s national thought.。The theoretical significance of Marx’s national thought is included:it is realized to transcend the bourgeois nationalism view, it provides the scientific basis of constantly developing Marxsm national theory,it reflects the unity of scientific and revolutionary, it provides scientific theory of understanding and solving the national problems. Marx’s national thought has important practical significance to solve the national problems in China and world national problems:On the one hand.this paper tries to explore the path to solve the basic causes of national problems.it includes four aspects:we should vigorously develop pioductive forces to the promotion of national economic prosperity, we should pay more attention to national interests to resolve national contradiction, we should strengthen the politics thought education to strengthen Chinese national cohesion and we should respect and protect national culture to make sure of cultural diversity.On the other hand.the paper puts forward the countermeasures to solve the national problems in the world, namely the establishment of a fair and reasonable international economic order in order to promote the common prosperity of all national groups in the world, the establishment of a fair and reasonable new international political order to achieve equal dialogue and cooperation of the peoples of the world. the construction based on the international level of the national cultural diversity in order to promote the mutual exchange of the world culture, respect different religions in order to give full play to the positive role of religion in solving national problems.
