Marxist popular opinion is the basic theory of Marxism, which is in the core of the theoretical system of historical materialism. It’s full of fresh since it appearance at the front of political stage. This theory is crystallization of wisdom of popular It’s also comes from popular’s social practice. The world proletarian movement considered it as guidance. Meanwhile, many unresolved issues need us to explore. Later scholars pay attention on it. They form their own opinions which cause a lot of issues. Based on the basic spirits of Marxism, through the method of deep interpretation of the text, this dissertation intend to clarifying the historical development of Marxist popular opinion, showing the truth of Marxist popular opinion as closely as possible in the long development of history, understanding the nature of historical materialism deeply, and providing a theoretical foundation for the construction of socialism ideology with Chinese characteristics.Karl Marx put eyes on the popular so as the theory. During the middle school time, he set up his dream for the whole people. In his doctoral dissertation, he expounded and proved the dynamic role of human liberation and self-consciousness, stressed the human rather than God to be the creator. In the Rheinische Zeitung period, he defended for the poor and cried for their miserable life. He considered "spirit" and "mind" as the main way of self liberation. Philosophy, economics and scientific socialism were viewed as a whole to focus on working class in1844Manuscripts. German Ideology stated the historic necessity of the proletariat and the liberation of mankind by using the method of historical materialism. In the Communist Manifesto, Marx revealed fundamental way for liberation and elaborated the inevitable victory of socialism.In the period of social comprehensive prove and deepening development, Marx combined theory and practice, summed up the experience and lessons to enriched and perfected his popular opinion. In The Eighteenth Brumaire of Louis Bonaparte, Marx found out that it’s essential for the working class to unite the farmer stratum because this stratum takes a big part of popular. In Capital and Manuscripts, he made a multi-dimensional perspective on the vertical development of human society and the inner characteristics of various social forms under the guidance of productive forces, production relations and the status of human development, in order to illustrated the vertical process, rule and transverse structure of the development of human society. In his later years, The Civil War in France and Critique of the Gotha Programme highlighted the role and historical mission of popular, set a new social formation named Communism.Based on the practice of material life, Marx established a research path which is quite different from old materialism and historical idealism:referring "the practice of material life" as the logical starting point, around the relationship between the popular and social, popular and history, he gradually extended his theory of popular opinion.
