This paper studies Mao Tse-tung’s Political Philosophy, based on the basic theoretical frame that the view of humanity is the humanity foundation of both societal values and political tactics, the societal values is the guidance of political tactics and political practice, the political tactics is the medium between societal values and political practice, and the political practice is the endogenetic impetus of the actualization of societal values. The paper holds that Mao Tse-tung’s Political Philosophy was gradually formed in the process of his leading Chinese revolution and construction in which, facing the national calamity and development, he actively sought the truth of saving the country and the people by establishing a scientific communist belief after a fundamental shift in his worldview and an evolution of his political theory. With both universal humanity and specific humanity as a base point, traditional Chinese culture as historical soil, new democracy, socialism and communism as the ideal, freedom, equality and democracy as political values, and class struggle, state power, mass line and political education as the main political tactics, Mao’s Political Philosophy aims to transform both internal and external reality to realize the integration of values and facts. The history of Chinese revolution and construction has shown that Mao’s Political Philosophy is the scientific theoretical guidance of the Chinese revolution with the historical characteristics of integration of idealism and reality and integration of epochal character and national character. Although Mao Tse-tung’s Political Philosophy in his later years has some mistakes, it is the important theoretical achievement of the sinicization of Marxism Political Philosophy and the important theoretical reference for the contemporary China’s social construction and development.
