Western educational theory Transplantation can not solve Chinese educational problem. Realistic predicament of Chinese education hightlights the shortage of Native Educational Thought. Constructing local educational theory and solving realistic educational problems ugently appeal for research on the local character education ideas.Zhang Chuting is in the growth of the local educational practice thinker after the reform and opening-up. Proving inherent value and significance of Zhang Chuting’s educational thought, aims to construct local education theory to find the path and to provide material, and may open a new space for contemporary education reform. In this thesis, the theoretical basis of modern hermeneutics, the use of biographical research method, combing through three stages of Zhang Chuting’s Educational Thought, Zhang Chuting educational thought itself as well as intrinsic motivation ideas were generated due to the depth of research."What is person " is the most fundamental problem of education. Zhang Chuting’s thought on personal self-consciousness is from his life experiences. In his early life, parents and hometown gave him a good education impact, so he came to realize the beauty of person nature. During his high school, he loves math, literature and music, cultivate logical thinking, enhances his humanistic quality. Unrest in years, he suffered ideological confusion, began to doubt the "revolution", the fate of concerned person, but still in true goodness, stick to the true personality in the wind storms。After the reform and opening up, Zhang Chuting took university president. He changed his research territory from Mathematics to Education, thinking person in the governance of the school and education. In the course of opening educational thought consciousness, tending to educational practice consciousness, continuing to enhance personal self-consciousness.Management and professional teaching practices provide rich nourishment for the growth of the Zhang Chuting’s university educational thought. From Curriculum of Person and University of Person to Education of Person, Zhang Chuting’s educational thought expands from the micro to macro. Around person’s education, he proposed "five I" course idea:Information, Interest, Inquiry, Intuition, Intelligence. In the critique of scientism and Society standardism Curriculum, based on the concept of building a harmonious humanities curriculum. In the question of epistemology and political Brubeck philosophical foundation of higher education,he put forward the Theory of life. Anchored to humanity,he tries to draw "axiom", the scientific concept into education and builds five educational axioms:Potential axiom, Motivation axiom, Reflexive axiom, Aesthetic axiom, Intermediary axiom.Zhang Chuting is more than70, but still Focus on academic research, and changes from the philosophy of education toward the philosophy of person, realize the education idea improving and Transcending. He proposed in the Philosophy of Person:Philosophy is the philosophy of person, person is a special pre-generated being, having talented freedom of thought, reaching the infinite and eternal through unlimited thought. Person is person under providence. He researched the education of person according to The philosophy of person, Proposed that education originated in person, person characteristics result in educational characteristics, science of education is part of Humanities; He researched university of person according to the philosophy of person, and Proposed that university is self-production of human life, person universities adhere the nature of freedom and transcendence of human, Objective of university education in the humanities is the promotion of people’s liberation,and so on. In general, Zhang Chuting’s philosophy of higher education contains completely higher education Generation Theory, Life Theory, Beyond Theory, Freedom Theory and Philosophical Theory, forms the theory system of his own.Zhang Chuting’s course of educational thought shows:person is the logical starting point for all education. There is no real educational self-consciousness if there is no personal self-consciousness, A real thought consciousness can bring a practice consciousness. Just ask more, thinking it endless. Zhang Chuting’s course of educational thought starts from person, based on person nature, For person development, is respond to the question what is the education philosophy China needs, provides a scientific path and important material to construct the native educational theory, Also provides an important revelation for the future of education reform and development.
