| Adjust the relationship between urban and rural areas, eliminate the gap among them gradually, promote the urban-rural integration is a major issue in our country and even the long-term development in the future. As an important method, urban areas highlighting the imbalances in regional development, inefficient allocation of land use and resources, imbalance of ecological security and other local space issues towards the rapid development in the socio-economy, showsthat it has become one of the key areas for regional space research on how to achieve efficient, coordinated and sustainable development of urban and rural space. However, there seems little study on regional spatial pattern of urban-rural integration and performance evaluation among the current spatial pattern of urban-rural integration cross research.There seems to have intrinsically connections between the transformation of regional spatial pattern of urban-rural and the development of regional spatial pattern of urban-rural relations, the operation of spatial pattern reflected on its features comprehensively, and impacted significantly on the urban-rural which consist of regional spatial pattern and its coordinated development. How to achieve the measurement of regional spatial pattern of urban- rural performance evaluation, it realized the analogies between different areas of urban spatial patterns, thus, it means importantly to the existing integration of spatial patterns of urban and rural regions, and also provides methods and references to the scientific directions on the development of regional spatial pattern of urban-rural integration and spatial planning optimization practice.The study based on the relationship between urban and rural areas, standing on the point of the perspective of urban and rural planning science, exploring the connections among the relationship between urban and rural areas(external manifestation is spatial pattern of urban-rural integration) and efficiency of growth(internal manifestation is spatialperformance of urban-rural integration) along with its features,and estimated the result of regional spatial pattern of urban-rural integration( referred to ? space form?)--spatialperformance of urban-rural( referred to as ?space quality?) by building space performance evaluation index system, in the result of judging the advantages and disadvantages under different spatial patterns, for making suggestions and adjustment.In short : based on a relationship : the relationship between urban and rural areas; formed an object : the integration of urban and rural; summarized a pattern : regional spatial pattern of urban-rural integration; introduced a understanding: urban space ?form? and ?quality?; built a method : performance evaluation of regional spatial pattern of urban-rural integration; provided a suggestion: optimization criteria of urban-rural integration.The significances of this research could be concluded into three aspects : Firstly, reviewed the theories of integration and regional space systemically, proposing the concept of urban-rural spatial patterns and performance, along with building a cognitive system of regional urban-rural spatial systems research, for which has fundamental theoretical significances in the researching of urban and rural spatial study(mode, performance, etc.); Secondly, summarized the integration of urban and rural spatial mode and the development of it towards three northwest areas: Guanzhong Shaanxi, Ningxia Plain, Haidong Qinghai, and forming a specific understanding of regional spatial pattern of urban-rural integration, which has some practical significance for understanding and guiding the development of urban-rural integration process in Northwest; Last but not the least, analyzing the feedbacks based onevaluating the performances of three spatial patterns could provide optimized recommendations, in order to have practical meanings on formulating and improving the regional spatial patterns of urban-rural integration.The methodology of this research contains content analysis, case study, system analysis, field investigation, inductive deduction, historical comparative analysis, mathematical analysis(DEA, GIS) and spatial econometric analysis, quantitative and qualitative analysis.The innovation of this dissertation could be summarized into three aspects: ① the improvement of theory: Constructing a research system of regional urban-rural space systems. Proposing regional urban and rural spatial basic model is "a bottom-up hierarchical set of bundled network + complex spheres ", for which depends on different urban-rural stages, many types of staggered-built spatial connections; ②the innovation of various knowledge integration : a fusion of astronomical physics, geometry, geography and urban-rural planning about space science, first proposed ?spatial centroid drifting of urban-rural which based on gravity model ?; ③the innovation of methodology: Leading in DEA(data envelopment analysisapp: addword: data envelopment analysis) and building a model focus on performance evaluation of regional urban-rural spatial patterns. |
