A complete a knot is formed by tying rope together with the various mechanisms of the D-knotter,the spatial structure parameters of D-knotter were the direct factors that influencing the cooperation relationship between agencies of D-knotter.Not only the space structure of D-knotter was very complete,the precision of spatial structure parameter requirement of D-knotter was very high,but also there was a strong correlation between the spatial structure parameter,this complex association mechanism greatly improves the difficulty of designing and manufacturing of the D-knotter.Aim to the problems existing in the design and manufacture of D-knotter in china,combined with the lack of research in the design principle of D-knotter in China,the relationship between the spatial structure parameters was analyzed in this paper from the structure principle of D-knotter.The parametric analytical model of D-knotter was intensive studied in this paper,and the spatial structure parameters of D-knotter was analyzed in this paper based on the model.Based on the configured parameters,parametric modeling and trial-manufacture of D-knotter was carried on combined with the technology of reverse engineering and precision manufacturing.Finally,the knotter experimental of the trial-manufactured D-knotter were carried out through the development of the tester.The innovative results and main conclusions of this paper as follows.(1)A set of D-bale knotter movement and cord tension information synchronous acquiring system in real time was set up in the existing square baler in this paper.The straw binding test were carried out based on this system.The motion image information of the D-knotter and the data of the rope tension were obtained in this test.The motion sequence of each mechanism of the D-knotter were got based on the above information,and the detailed timing of the movement of each mechanism of the D-knotter was analyzed in this paper.(2)The knotting action of D-knotter were analyzed in this paper,the knotting action of D-knotter were divided into eight actions include rope-sending,rope-towing,rope-building,rope-clipping,rope-winding,rope-biting,rope-cutting and rope-releasing.Qualitative analysis of the requirements of each action were carried out in this paper.The spatial structure parameters of D-knotter were confirmed by establishing the space coordinate system,the influence mechanism of the spatial structure parameters on the knotting action of the D-knotter was analyzed qualitatively.Based on the qualitative analysis of the knotting action,combined with the determined spatial structure parameters of the D-knotter,the numerical analytical condition of rope-sending,rope-towing,rope-building,rope-clipping,rope-winding,rope-biting,rope-cutting and rope-releasing were set up,the spatial structure parameter matching relationship between each agency of D-knotter were described in this paper.(3)The correlation mechanism of the spatial structure parameters of the D-knotter and the influence of various parameter on the knotting action were analyzed,the influence mechanism of each parameters were also analyzed qualitatively.Based on the numerical analysis of the knotting action of the D-knotter,combined with the reverse data of the existing knotter,the main spatial structure parameters of the D-knotter were analytical calculated and configured.(4)Based on the analyzing spatial structure parameters of the D-knotter,the parameter modeling of each part of the D-knotter were obtained by the reverse engineering technology.The precision manufacturing technology of each part of the D-knotter were researched in this paper based on the three dimensional model of the D-knotter,the processing technology of each component was determined in this paper.(5)The performance test bench for the D-knotter were set up,the forming performance test of the designed D-knotter and the D-knotter from Germany was carried out based on the test bench.200 experiments were carried out to observe the effect of tying rope on the two kinds of D-knotter.The experimental results showed that the rope structure was basically same from the two D-knotter,and the knotting rate of the two kinds of D-knotter was all 100%.The experimental results showed that the spatial structure parameters of the designed D-knotter were correct,and the analytical model was accurate and reliable.The model could be used for the parametric design of D-knotter.
