Research On Compilation Of Leishu In Weijin And The Northern & Southern Dynasties

Many scholars did research on the Leishu in Sui and Tang Dynasties and the latter dynasties,but there was no special research on the Leishu in Weijin and the Northern&Southern Dynasties due to the long history and loss of the historical materials.Previous scholars,such as Zhang Dihua,Hu Daojing,Fang Shiduo and Cao Zhi who have attached importance of Weijin and the Northern&Southern Dynasties'Leishu to the construction development history and compilation history of Chinese Leishu,conducted creative research on Leishu in these dynasties in limited conditions.Furthermore,they putted forward the viewpoint that Weijin and the Northern&Southern Dynasties are the source of Chinese Leishu,and the development and evolution of later ages' Leishu,especially both the Sui and Tang Dynasties' Leishu are rooted in the dynasties.However,Weijin and the Northern&Southern Dynasties,Leishu have not been studied comprehensively and systematically as a result of trivial details and immature opportunity.Based on previous scholars' research and the collections of many documents including the Historical Documents,Dunhuang Inscriptions,Extraterritorial Literature,Dazangjing and Daozang,this paper found that Leishu in Weijin and the Northern&Southern Dynasties not only had large quantity,but also involved kings,ministers,literati,monks and taoists.And what's more,the first climax of compilation history of Chinese Leishu appeared in Qi and Liang Dynasties.The Officially Compiled Leishu in Weijin and the Northern&Southern Dynasties is comprised of Huanglan,Sibuyaolue,Shouguangshuyuan,Hualinbianlue,Xiuwendianyulan and so on,which were lost more than one time while a lot of information was still preserved.Therefore,this paper aimed at studying the basic topics including compilation background,compilation time,compiler and compilation style,and investigating the interaction among them and their circulation and acceptance in the Tang Song Ming and Qing periods.A lot of Literature Leishu,Buddhist Leishu and Taoist Leishu also existed except the Officially Compiled Leishu in Weijin and the Northern&Southern Dynasties.The reason previous researchers complained that corresponding research materials were scarce and trivial is they neglected the Literature Leishu,Buddhist Leishu and Taoist Leishu.Based on the addendum and research of Yaolan(Lu Ji),Zuanyao(Dai Andao,Yan Yanzhi,Liang Yuan Emperor,He Chengtian),Xiu Zhongji(Shen Yue),Cai Bi(Yu Jianwu),Yu Dui(Zhu Danyuan),this paper aimed to elucidate the relationship of Leishu compilation and literature.The Buddhist Leishu in Weijin and the Northern&Southern Dynasties comprised Zhongjingyaochao,Yilin,Fabaolianbi,Jinglvyixiang,Neidianboyao,Jinzanglun and so on,so this paper aimed at studying the compilation background,compilation time,compiler and compilation style,and clarifying the lineage of Buddhist Leishu.The Taoist Leishu of Wushangmiyao in Weijin and the Northern&Southern Dynasties was closely related to emperor Wu of the Northern Zhou Dynasty,and even was the integration of Taoism in the Northern and Southern Dynasties.Therefore this paper attempted to clarify its symbolic meaning.In summary,this paper aimed to construct the Leishu's development history and compilation history of Weijin and the Northern&Southern Dynasties by the arrangement of the literatures clearly.In a word,the existing research of Leishu is not systematic.Therefore,this paper tries to consummate and sublimate the research theory of the Leishu based on the literature studies.The definition,orientation,circulation,evolution,function,value,source,abuses and other issues have been concerned and are also the most controversial issues.Based on previous scholars' research,this paper carries out new exploration and puts forward new views,i.e.Leishu is the compilation of informative historical materials and derived from history department.In addition,in order to focus on the manifestation of the existence value of Leishu,the paper also investigates the relationships of Leishu and politics,literature,imperial examination,primary education,daily life,and introduces the extraterritorial spread of Leishu.In the light of the ignorance of Leishu in academia,and the prejudice that the Leishu is considered as otter 'Ji' fish,trivial details,vulgar bookman,this paper patiently introduces the circulation,evolution,function,value of Leishu.
