The Study Of The History Of The Tang Dynasty

Recording articles in historical biographies of official histories before the Tang Dynasty,which was become an interesting and meaningful phenomenon.It was very attractive both in the history and literature.With the accumulation of time,it become a very beautiful and special scenery in history ocean.Therefore,it is very worth studying the phenomenon for us that articles were recorded in historical biographies.This thesis takes it as a special topic and plan to carry out specialized,focused and systematic research.This thesis includes the introduction,six chapters of main body and the epilogue.In the introduction part,the related research both ancient and modern,Chinese and foreign on this topic is reviewed and sorted out.Moreover,this part explains the value and meaning of research,ideas and methods,innovation etc.In the first chapter and the second chapter,we study the general situation of recording articles in historical biographies of official histories before the Tang Dynasty.Historical works of pre Qin Dynasty were rich and vivid,such as The Tso Chuan,Guoyu and Tactics of the Warring States all provided experience and reference for historical biographies recording articles.And we define the relevant concepts and research contents.It was also important that these historians before the Tang Dynasty had very high literary attainments which also promoted the development of historical biographies recording articles.These seven official history books completed before the Tang Dynasty were The Records of the Historian History of the Han Dynasty,The Records of Three Kingdoms,History of the Later Han Dynasty,The Book of Song Dynasty,The Book of Southern Qi Dynasty and The book of Wei Dynasty.Then we do statistics and analyze the basic situation of articles recorded in historical biographies.In the third chapter,we summarize and study the evolution and characteristics of articles recorded in historical biographies before the Tang Dynasty.The Records of the Historian created a precedent in historical biographies recording articles.History of the Han Dynasty learned this practice and carried forward the tradition.The Records of Three Kingdoms,History of the Later Han Dynasty,The Book of Song Dynasty,The Book of Southern Qi Dynasty and The book of Wei Dynasty were all kept this tradition and made new changes and developments.It is characterized by authenticity,richness and universality that articles were recorded in historical biographies.Also,it is closely related to the narration and description of characters in historical biographies.In the fourth chapter,we explore the relationship between narrative and historical biographies recording articles.They inosculated as a whole.Also,we can see the function and effect of historical biographies recording articles on narrative.Narrative plots were caused by articles recorded in historical biographies as a clue and as a hint.Meanwhile,it adjusted the speed of narrative.It could decelerate the speed or accelerate the speed of narrative.Moreover,It could create tragic or mystical of narrative atmosphere.There is also an important aspect that articles recorded in historical biographies could make the prolongation of narrative text,such as the combination of metaphor and metonymy,the performance of polyphonic style and the addition of colorful language.In the fifth chapter,we discuss mainly the function and effect of historical biographies recording articles on description of characters in historical biographies.Description of characters view of reception,articles recorded in historical biographies had also promoted the classics of articles.It had an influence on the choice of readers and expanded the cultural implication of the works.In addition,It enriched the way the reader accepted articles.In the epilogue part,we mainly explain the influence and significance of recording articles in historical biographies of official histories before the Tang Dynasty to the later literature in many aspects.And we take the influence of historical biographies recording articles on poetry into novels as an example to discuss.I hope
