A Study Of Art Anthropology Of Yangjiabu Woodcut New Year Pictures In The Social Transformation

Folk New Year pictures is one of the unique Chinese painting genre,it is rooted in the people's folk customs and daily life,constructing the people's feeling and perception,is ordinary popular folk art.Han New Year pictures,originated in song dynasty,thriving,Ming has again after the decline of the period of the Republic of China,in the early days after foundation of reform,stopped in the cultural revolution,reform and opening up after the Renaissance,the decline of the end of the 20 th century,became "non-material cultural heritage" at the beginning of the century.It can be seen that the social transformation is closely related to the changes of traditional handicrafts.Based on the impact of society transforming on the Folk New Year pictures' life pattern,the article divides the transformation into four types,the local society which from the Folk New Year pictures came into being to the before the Republic of China,the industrial society under the planning economic industry society in the early years of People's Republic of China,the post-industry society which from the reform and opening to the end of the twentieth century,the “no-heritage” period under the global economic integration in the 21 st Century.Because anthropology is a discipline which takes fieldwork and holism as the research paradigm,so only when traditional handicrafts are placed in a clear context,the relationship between social transformation and handicraft changes can be seen clearly.When the “field” is superimposed which in the spatial dimension and in the historical dimension,how to use the methods of “objects” “literature” “oral history” and so on to research the “history event” deeply and form the folklore ethnography styles will be a new challenge for the research paradigm of art anthropology.Accordingly,this article from the perspective of anthropology of art by the change of social transformation are the as the research content,respectively,from the national four dimensions,market,culture,technology,characteristics of the style of the New Year pictures,heritage and development,production and sales,agents,present state and market promotion,etc,"reducing analysis" to investigate the relationship of social transformation and traditional handicraft change and development path.This article draw lessons from British sociologist d.Alexander's theory of "cultural diamond",will serve as a cultural representation system of New Year pictures,placed in and society,the production,consumption of "diamond" illustrates the framework,and draw the following demands: heritage to the resource theory of social practice;Localization of artistic practice towards modernity;National presence and rational peasants reciprocity and game;Intellectuals to intervention and influence of the folk art.
