Study On "The Man Chou Pao" Fictions

"The Man Chou Pao" was a Chinese newspaper which was founded and operated by the Japanese in the Republic of China. It published for fifteen years and was saved well. "The Man Chou Pao" reported the domestic and international news, which reflected the people's livelihood, political social situation,besides this,there was also literature works in it. More than one thousand articles were published on “The Man Chou Pao” in fifteen years, and the newspaper was an important carrier of northeast novelists Fictions and the creation of the garden.Those Fictions were in many types and were rich in content,including a large number of valuable literary works.The Fictions in "The Man Chou Pao" played a positive role on the aspects of the traditional literature inheritance,the creation of new literature, and literary style change.The Fictions in "The Man Chou Pao" faced and reflected the reality, described the survival of the people of the Northeast under the old times, reflecting the special cultural mentality. From the perspective of literary history, the Fictions in "The Man Chou Pao" witnessed the historical changes and developents of northeast modern fiction and outlined the original picture of northeast novel.It is a precious heritage for studying the Northeast novel. In view of this, the Fictions in "The Man Chou Pao" would be systematically sorted out for digging out the value and deeply understanding the development and evolution of the Northeast Fictions.It is been looking forward to leave a space for these Fictions in Chinese literary history.With the deepening of studying on the Northeast literature, the northeast Fictions are more popular nowdays. but the current researchs on Northeast novel are limited in specific research contents, failed to place the Fictions back into the newspapers on which the Fictions had been published. Peeling and ignoring the historical and literary ecology means to abandon the important support materials, which would be bound to affect the value of the work on fiction and understanding of the mentality of the writers. This article collected abundant materials,took some Fictions as the samples,regarded "The Man Chou Pao" as the main study field, and sorted out the the diachronic development of literature edition of "The Man Chou Pao" and the synchronic state of major novelists. The study of the novel will work in vivid historical and cultural context, show the work with the initial condition of that time,and form an unique perspective on the formation of novel newspapers.The full text is divided into four chapters: the first chapter makes a whole research on the Fictions published in “The Man Chou Pao”. In view of the current academic status of the no overall study of “The Man Chou Pao”, according to the different characteristics of "The Man Chou Pao" in the history,the development of the "The Man Chou Pao" is divided into four stages to investigate. A large historical field would be provided to the research on noverls through the study on the history of "The Man Chou Pao" at different stages of development and the characteristics of the newspaper "The Man Chou Pao". Subsequently, development and evolution of "The Man Chou Pao" literary monographs were sorted out by diachronic studying of the "The Man Chou Pao" art layout. the literary Fictions were throughly examined, in order to restore the original literature survival state of these Fictions.The writers of the Fictions are studied in the second chapter and the third chapter,which including the old literati with old characteristics and some novelist who had been affected by new trend. through the textual studying of these writers and works, we can tell the writers' literary mechanism in a transitional period.The development of blending of the new and the old Fictions will be showed too.The literary and social value of the novel will be studied in the fourth chapter. The overall style and the literature value of the Fictions published will be summarized. In addition, the original real history will be archived through the shape of the "small potato" and the writer's creative psychology,by comparing "The Man Chou Pao" Fictions and news reports on the same important event.It will be confirmed that the Fictions in "The Man Chou Pao" were numerous and various,and the quality and the literature value are still needed to be further explored.While these novel responsed to the changes of the society and created someliterary images with social concept and meaning during that times. "The Man Chou Pao" Fictions show the Northeast literature territorial rules and characteristics, had become the research paradigm and the living fossil of the Northeast history,providing valuable materials for us to reconstruct the Northeast literary history. In a word,the unique literary and social value of the novel of “The Man Chou Pao” should be treated correctly and carefully studied.
