Being one of the latest fields in modern psychology study,positive psychology helps people tap their potentials and make use of their potentials to improve their psychological and life quality.Teachers' job satisfaction,referring to teachers' attitude towards their job and its environment,is an important index of teachers' working efficiency,physical and mental health and other behaviors.It not only influences teachers' working enthusiasm but is closely connected with their positive psychology and psychological adaptation.On the basis of current teachers' positive psychology study,this research combs through the concepts,measuring methods,influencing factors and theoretical explanations of positive psychology,psychological adaptation and working satisfaction.With 2086 middle school teachers from 7 provinces as study objects,the research investigates the current situation of positive psychology,psychological adaptation and job satisfaction of middle school teachers,and the affecting relationships among them,with the purpose of providing theoretical and empirical base for middle school teachers'professional development and proposing an approach for the study of teachers' positive psychology.Research 1:With psychological adaptation as theoretical basis,this research puts forward the theoretical assumption that teachers' psychological adaptation consists of four dimensions of positive emotion,self-esteem,negative emotion and depression.The research forms a Teachers' Psychological Adaptation Scale.The result indicates:after being revised with standardized program,the scale consists of 39 items,including the four dimensions of self-esteem(8 items),positive emotion(9 items),negative emotion(9 items)and depression(13 items).The Cronbach'sacoefficient of the total scale and sub-scales are all above 0.8,with the explanation rate of variances of depression,negative emotion,positive emotion and self-esteem being respectively 26.469%?13.635%?10.527%?7.029%,which is quite consistent and reliable and can be used as an effective tool to measure middle school teachers' psychological adaptation.The analysis of current situation and differences of teachers' psychological adaptation shows that teachers' psychological adaptation is generally high,with different teacher groups differing from each other.Research 2:On the basis of positive psychology and related study,this research uses life satisfaction,emotional intelligence(self emotion evaluation,other's emotion evaluation,emotion regulation and emotion application),and psychological capital(hope,optimism,self-efficacy and resilience)to measure middle school teachers'positive psychology and test the suitability of the scale.The result indicates:life satisfaction scale and emotional intelligence scale are consistent with the original scale;psychological capital scale consists of three dimensions of tenacity(9 items),self-efficacy(6 items)and optimism(9 items);factors of hope distributed in optimism and tenacity;the coefficient of all scales are above 0.8,with the explanation rate of variances of life satisfaction scale,emotional intelligence scale and psychological capital questionnaire being respectively 69.182%?70.837%?55.850%,which is quite reliable.Further study shows that psychological capital,emotional intelligence and life satisfaction are closely related and positively correlated with each other(p<0.01);and psychological capital can regulate the relationship between emotional intelligence and life satisfaction,promoting the influence of emotional intelligence upon life satisfaction.The analysis of current situation and differences of teachers' positive psychology shows that teachers,positive psychology is comparatively high,with different teacher groups differing from each other.Research 3:This research verifies the suitability of Job Satisfaction Scale to teachers.The exploratory factor analysis finds that first factor internal satisfaction includes 10 items;the second factor external satisfaction includes 10 items;this is consistent with the original job satisfaction two dimensions structure,but the composition of items has changed.The result of exploratory factor analysis proves that this model is suitable for measuring teachers' job satisfaction.The analysis of current situation and differences of teachers' job satisfaction shows that teachers' job satisfaction is generally high,but different teacher groups differ from each other.Research 4:This research investigates the relationship among teachers' positive psychology(psychological capital,emotional intelligence,life satisfaction),teachers'psychological adaptation(positive emotion,self-esteem,negative emotion,depression)and teachers' job satisfaction(internal satisfaction,external satisfaction),puts forward and verifies the functional mechanism model among them.The research finds that teachers' positive psychology,teachers' psychological adaptation,and their job satisfaction are closely related with each other:teachers' positive psychology,their psychological adaptation have predicative function upon their job satisfaction;psychological adaptation partially connects teachers'positive psychology and their job satisfaction.In conclusion,this study establishes a comparatively high-validity teachers'psychological adaptation scale,revises the teachers' psychological capital scale and teachers' job satisfaction scale;the study investigates the positive psychology,psychological adaptation,the current situation of job satisfaction and their influences,taking social and demographic factors such as gender,working years,education level,region differences into consideration,and analyses the relationship among middle school teachers' positive psychology,psychological adaptation and job satisfaction and their internal mechanism of action;and the study establishes and proves a preliminary connection between middle school teachers' positive psychology and job satisfaction and a mediation model of psychological adaptation.
