College students are the builders of the society in the future. It is necessary topay attention to their psychological development in a social environmentcharacterized by many opportunities and challenges. Adopting an approach ofpositive psychology, this study focuses on the psychological characteristics ofcontemporary college students from the point of view of selection of positivepsychological capital, social support, and degree of satisfaction campus life. Andthereby it is of great practical significance for promoting the healthy development ofcollege students’ self development and psychology.On the basis of previous researches, this study adopts the methods of randomsampling, by means of which433college students of5universities and collegesconducted a questionnaire survey with psychological capital questionnaire, in thehope of further knowledge of status quo of positive psychological capital, socialsupport, and the degree of satisfaction campus life of domestic college students.Through the investigation of these three variables, it is showed1. That the subjects are of a comparatively high positive psychological asset andsocial support, and of a moderate degree of satisfaction of campus life,2. That the demographic variables such as gender, grade, birthplace, and parentaleducation exert influence on positive psychological asset, social support and degreeof satisfaction of campus life in different extents,3. That there exist a positive correlation respectively between positivepsychological asset and social support, between social support and degree ofsatisfaction of campus life, and between positive psychological asset and degree ofsatisfaction of campus life.4. That optimism, self-efficacy, subjective support and objective support have ajoint power of explanation, as high as51.0%, of the degree of satisfaction of campuslife; the factor of optimism is best thereof, 5. And that positive psychological asset could immediately influence the degreeof satisfaction of campus life, and meanwhile it could have such influence by themediation of social support.
