Somatic depression is a way of emotion expression through the body.A large amount of researches has been conducted, in which some factors affecting the somatization have been explored from some angles, finding that somatic depression can hinder the diagnosis of depression. Many of the researches, however, generally have some problems including amphibolous concepts, void measuring method and unclear effect mechanism. This research, through self-made somatic depression measures tools, roundly surveys the present situation of college students' somatic depression, studies the psychological social mechanisms of somatic depression and builds integrated model, meanwhile discusses the prediction of somatic depression. The research includes six chapters. Chapter one, reviews the related issues in the research of somatic depression, and puts forward the existing deficiencies such as unitary research methods , lack of somatic depression specialized measurement tool and in-depth discussion of its mechanism, etc. . Hereby, the question of this research is posed accordingly, i.e.according to the characters of the Chinese college students' somatic depression, a theory framework will be established to compile somatic depression questionnaire of Chinese college students. Meanwhile, using the questionnaire as a measuring tool, the somatic depression cause and effect will be explored in this research. Chapter two puts forward the purpose of this research, and preliminarily builds the basic train of thought and research route.Chapter three to chapter five is the empirical research part. Chapter three, based on the Chinese college students' somatic depression characteristics, builds a theoretical framework of it, thereby establishes somatic depression questionnaires of Chinese college students (SDQ).Chapter four, using SDQ as a measuring tool, initially discusses the cause of somatic depression, and constructs a model of psychological mechanism of social integration. Chapter five, through the comparative research with PHQ - 9, preliminarily investigates the predictive function of SDQ.Based on the review of the previous five chapters, summarization and prospect is given in chapter six. The research detects that SDQ has multidimensional structure, which can effectively measure somatization in college students' depression. Through constructing the integrated model formed by somatic depression, some important psychological social factors affecting the formation of somatic depression have been found, such as personality, stigma, alexithymia and defense mechanisms.Through SEM, it can be found that somatic depression can effectively predict the intention of suicide and professional psychological help. This research systematically combs the development process of somatic depression concept, which has theoretical value in a certain degree. Meanwhile, insight into the value in the diagnosis of clinical somatic depression symptoms is helpful for college students to be conscious of his own depression and his help-seeking behavior, and it plays an important role in preventing college students' depression, even their behaviors of commit suicide. It has practical significance, for it can effectively help mental health workers identify depression and its resulting negative consequences.
