College students' mental health problem has always been a social-wide issue.When they suffer from psychological problems or trouble,only a few students seek help from school mental health center.They still don't turn to the professionals,even psychological distress can't be solved by themselves.So the psychological distress get aggravating.In order to improve the level of students' mental and to promote students' help-seeking willingness,This study described the students' psychological distress and help-seeking willingness,then explored the impact of psychological help-seeking stigma on psychological help-seeking willingness,finally explored the effect of regulating matching of on psychological help-seeking stigma.Aimed to improve the persuasion of information,reduce stigma for helping and improving students' mental help.This study includes three relevant study:Study 1(N=252).Investigate psychological distress of college students,and help-seeking willingness when they encounter the psychological problems.Finally,the results show that college students have troubles mostly in study,career planning,and emotion etc.Generally,help-seeking willingness of college students is on the low side.Particularly,help-seeking willingness are lower than others when problems relating to interpersonal relationship and emotional.Study 2(N=142).Discuss the impact of the public stigma and self-stigma on help-seeking willingness.Through the regression analysis,we found that self-stigma has significant impact on help-seeking willingness,The students who have higher self-stigma and lower help-seeking willingness;the effect of public stigma on help-seeking willingness is not significant..Study 3(N=145).Using2(situational induced regulatory focus: promotion focus,prevention focus)×2(message frame: positive framing,negative framing)between-subjects design.Interested in the influence of situational induced regulatory focus and message frame on help-seeking willingness.It was found that situational induced regulatory focus and message frame existed significant interaction.That is,when the framing is positive,situational induced promotion focus had higher help-seeking willingness than situational induced prevention focus,and when the framing is negative,situational induced prevention focus had higher help-seeking willingness than situational induced promotion focus.In addition,through the regression analysis,We found that in the hypothetical situations,psychological help-seeking willingness affected by attitude stigma and asking for help,and in the real situation,psychological help-seeking willingness only affected by self-stigma.Based on the study,it was considered that self-stigma has significant impact on help-seeking willingness.And we found that situational induced regulatory focus and message frame has significant impact on help-seeking willingness.
