Life education is both an organic component of the philosophy of life in Confucianism and a practice of theory of the philosophy of life in Confucianism,because on one hand the philosophy of life in Confucianism explores the meaning of life to construct the systematic value system;on the other hand,it is expected to apply its ideas on the life specifically to promote the life quality of people from every level of the society.The final orientation of the goal of the theory is that if encounter some social or life dilemmas that are hard to escape,the idea of Confucianism will provide the ultimate revelation of settling down in the aspects of secular and material.This shows that the concrete connotation of the life education in Confucianism is not just the abstract and mysterious metaphysics.What's more important is the life practice of unity of knowledge and practice.Its ultimate goal is spiritual home of Confucians' life education.In view of this,I take the ideology from the Confucianism representatives in the history of China that is about “life” as the core of the research.Among them,the life theory and the education practice of the Confucians such as Confucius and Mencius,Cheng Zhu and Lu Wang are the focuses of the research.I hope that this kind of investigation and research is helpful to enhance the harmony and development of life of people who study Confucianism.I also hope that the related classes about “life education” will be implemented and opened in Taiwan,where I live and work.In the point of view of history of thought,the ideology of Confucianism is an important component of outstanding traditional culture in our country.From Pre-Qin Confucianism to Song and Ming Neo-Confucianism,they all pay lots of attention on human's existence of life,and they construct theoretical systems of philosophy of Confucianism and ethical thought with rich connotations.The thought of Confucianism's attention towards human's life and the ideological doctrine it constructs have great influence on the Philosophy,ethics,education and literature of ancient China in the history.More importantly,if we can absorb its essence of thought and combine the real situation in the modern society to integrate and innovate,there will be important value and meaning in the life education in the modern society and the promotion of people's harmonious life.To sum up,this article aims to use the ideological wisdom that Confucianism highlights from the value of existence of life as the basic connotation of life education in modern society and use the detailed social investigation and argument as the example of practice of the concept of Confucianism life education in the paper.In the conclusion of the paper I give a summary and reflection about the understanding and practice of Confucianism life education.All in all,I hope that through this kind of investigation and elaboration,I can devote my own meager power to the academic research of concept of Confucianism life education and get some reference value from the social practice of concept of Confucianism life education,and then I can further enhance the development of life education in the modern society.
