| It has been 66 years since The People's Republic of China(PRC) was founded. Review the history, if we set the year of 1978 as the separated point, we can define that the history of PRC is a combination of two 30 years. How to recognize those two 30 years has become the very key to evaluate the history of PRC and to insist the Chinese path. Review the history, one of the CPC's greatest achievements is to explore a socialist modernization path which is suitable to Chinese realities. This path is known as the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Xi Jinping once stressed that to realize The Chinese dream, we must take this path. This path doesn't come easily, we are able to embark on this path thanks to the great endeavors of reform and opening up made in the past 30 years and more, the continuous quest made in the 60-plus years of the PRC. Xi's words clearly pointed out that the process of the Chinese path's explore, open up and expand is a struggle historical process. It is true that the two historical periods do existence very big difference before and after the reform and opening up, but after all, they are two periods to find a suitable socialist construction path for China. The 30 years before the reform and opening up is laying the basic thought, material and system foundation for this path. After the reform and opening up, CPC has lead the whole nation finally exploit The path of socialism with Chinese characteristics. From the various aspects such as basic theory, political system, economic system, culture system and so on, this path has realize the persist, reform and develop goals the on the 30 years before the reform and opening up. As the years went by, this path has put social developments and ecology developments into its entire allocation. Therefore, we can consider the two 30 years together promote the formation of the path, abandon each 30 years couldn't make the path complete.This thesis based on the important theoretical value and practical significance of understanding the two 30 years before and after the reform and opening up correctly, trying to clarify the whole historical context that how did CPC explore, open up and expand the path and summarize the historical experiences. This thesis consists of four chapters. The first chapter overviews the Chinese path's connotation and its basic characteristics. Chapter two clarifies the history of CPC to explore the Chinese socialist construction road, and describe how the exploration lay the foundation for the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Chapter three is starting from the "Five in One", as well as economic, political, cultural, social and ecological progress, to describe the process that CPC open up and expand the path. The final chapter is to stress that the two historical periods together promote the formation of the path, each period can't deny the other one. The major content of each chapter summarized as follows:Chapter one mainly discuss the content and characteristic of Chinese path. First, It clarify the historical route how CPC opening up and developing the path in order to stress that the Chinese path doesn't come easily. Second, this chapter clarify the scientific connotation of the path, clear and definite the basic assurance, basic components and phased development goals. Thirdly, it clarify the essentialfeature of the path, emphasis the path is a socialist modernization path which is suitable for China's national conditions. Finally, through compare to the traditional socialist pattern and the capitalist development model, we can clearly draw such conclusion that the Chinese socialist modernization path have succeeded beyond both the traditional socialist pattern and the capitalist model, become the only way to realize The Chinese dream.Chapter two mainly discuss the 30 years history before the reform and open up, the collective leadership of the Party Central Committee of the first generation with Mao Zedong as the core, lead the whole nation explore the Chinese socialist construction road.
