Chinese Communist Party In The Socialist Construction In The Catch-up Thinking

In the process of our country's socialist construction, to get rid of the state of poverty and backwardness as soon as possible is an important issue of bringing the socialist future destiny of relation of overall importance to catch and exceed the developed countries. On this question, the answer of our party grows with each passing hour. It varies from the initial surpass Britain and catch up with America, to catching up with advanced international standards later on, and present great-leap-forward development strategy; from sought the realization of national prosperity and power and changing the situation that scorned for, to realize the combination of promoting economic strength and improving people's lives after the reform and opening-up, then to pursue the development of the people in all-round way and emphasize the value of people first. Among them there are a lot of successful experiences and many setbacks and even failed bitter lessons too.This paper tries hard to use the historical materialism method and comparative research approach on the basis of the achievements of previous researchers to make systematic deep discussion of the theoretical origins, historical backgrounds, process of forming and developing and fundamental intentions, historical experiences and deep lessons of the thought of catching-up and surpassing. In addition, this paper makes an analysis of some wrong trend such as anxious for success and catches up with and surpass blindly in the course of building the well-to-do society in an all-round way at present. It also announces some countermeasure to overcome these wrong trends.
