political superstructure is based on the economic basis and at the same time stands a strategical position through reflecting it.The fine tradition is formed by insisting the Marxism theory as the guiding principles of our socialism,which led to the great practice of the Chinese revolution,construction and reforms.How to carry forward the fine tradition and especially make it passed and innovated by the young socialist successors is the major politics in modern times.It bears great significance in sticking to the confidence in our Chinese road,theory,system and culture.The best way to maintain growth is by fully consolidating the roots.Working as the carrier of Marxism education,the CCYL plays an indispensable role in influencing the youth with fruitful political and ideological work.It made the history of brilliant achievements and accumulated rich experience by forming a whole set of the fine tradition of political and ideological work suitable for the youth's growth.How to pass and command the historical experience is worth our summary and reflections from the view of Marxism theoretical education."Strong youth entails a strong and prosperous country".The youth will always be seen as the most dynamic for social progress by any farsighted parties.The CCYL is the youth mass organization under the leadership of the Communist Party of China(CPC).Working as a pioneering group,the CCYL has been the most reliable assistant and talent reserve force of the CPC.The CCYL's achievements were the fruits of its full play of the political and ideological work under the unquestioning obedience of the Party's leadership.Nowadays,with the profound changes in international and domestic environment and the increasingly pluralistic social profits and values,the CCYL's political and ideological work encounters rigorous challenges,thus how to creatively develop the CCYL's political and ideological work and guide the youth devote themselves into the great rejuvenation of Chinese nation is the theme of times with strategic significance.The research explores the fine tradition's formation,main contents and unique advantages from the Marxist standpoint.Scientifically summarizing and inheriting this fine tradition is of great importance for moving forward the CCYL' s work in a new era.Based on the historical contributions made by the CCYL,this thesis studies its fine tradition of political and ideological work under the guidance of the basic Marxist theories,aiming at providing helpful theoretical support and practical reference for real work.The thesis consists of four parts;Chapter one is about the historical observation on the CCYL's fine tradition of political and ideological work.The tradition originated from the history which constituted as the prerequisite for grasping it.This part can be condensed as a niche,that is,the disciplinary orientation of the CCYL's political and ideological work.Being directly led by CPC-the ruling party grasping the core power in socialism superstructure,the CCYL has intense political quality and firmly adheres to the ideology of our Party.Two fundamental issues will be investigated here.Firstly,what is CCYL's political and ideological work for?Namely,by the way of political and ideological work,we intend to fulfill the political task of guiding the youth obey and follow the Party,help them to improve their implementation of the guidelines,principles and polices of the Party and foster a large number of competent cadres and talents for the Party.Secondly,why is the political and ideological work done?It is for the youth guided by the Party better shouldering their missions and playing a vital role in the social organizational patterns and for them indeed becoming the qualified builders and successors for socialism cause as well.Chapter two expounds the main contents of the CCYL' s political and ideological work.With the quality of certain continuity,tradition provides the historical foundation for the significance and value of physical existence and remains as the basic condition for its development.It is cultivation that enables tradition to pass and command.By organizing the premise issues consistently concerning the existence of the CCYL,its idea,spirit and values are presented from the angle of political quality,basic tasks,historical obligations,course direction and working goals to establish the logic structure of the fine tradition of the CCYL's political and ideological work.This focal part includes the loyalty to the Party's unified principles,namely,"actions from the league are all under the call of the Party",the social orientation of being the assistant and reserve force of the Party to strengthen the political obligation of enlarging the youth mass basis,the direction of persisting central work to fulfill the central missions of the Party,and the principles of caring for and serving the youth wholeheartedly.All these embody the scientific grasp of youth growth and their tasks by political and ideological work,thus CCYL's vigor and vitality will be maintained by consolidating the youth's pioneering character and leading the youth as pioneers and brave explorers in new era.Chapter three is a macroscopic analysis of the features and advantages of the political and ideological work of the CCYL.Based on its unique logic,the fine tradition of the CCYL's political and ideological work includes several obvious strengths.Firstly,the CCYL attaches great importance to the political nature of its work.The CCYL has been existing as an integration with the CPC in terms of political and ideological work so the legitimacy and political direction of the CCYL are therefore guaranteed.Secondly,the CCYL emphasizes subject-object commonality among peers.Educators and educatees are close in age,thus have the same or similar experiences and background,which narrows the gaps of their values,education status and political quality,helping to reach a common understanding on the value and encourage the subject and object's active participation and unceasing innovation.Thirdly,the CCYL stands out its practicality by providing multiple carriers for its political and ideological work,including social practice,career development,theme education and recreational and sports activities.These activities are scientific,interesting and free-for-all.They make political and ideological work possible at different times in different areas and acceptable for different people.Chapter four probes into the theoretical study for creating a new prospect for political and ideological work guided by the fine tradition.The direction of CCYL's political and ideological work in new periods and the tensile relation between tradition application and innovation will be revealed as the CCYL's political and ideological work revolves around the theme of times under the guidance of problem orientation.To achieve these,the CCYL needs positive changes in work ethos,theories and practice.These changes include enhancing faithful soul-fostering education from the cognitive aspects,strengthening humanism education with humanistic care and socialist moral education,clarifying goals and directions of theoretical work and attaching importance to innovative working approaches and movement forms to reinforce the fundamental theoretical research of the CCYL's political and ideological work,developing more practical and lively channels and expanding new fronts multi-dimensionally with new media as the vital carrier to explore new space for the CCYL's political and ideological work.
