Research On The Influence Mechanism Of The Communist Youth League Network Mobilization

In the development trend of ecologicalization of Internet social communication,network mobilization becomes increasingly important for the Communist Youth League(hereinafter referred to as the CYL).Network mobilization is the mobilization by the league organization in the network society which inherits and surmounts various traditional ways of mobilization such as political mobilization.Network fields,on the other hand,have made a reform to the power structure and operation mechanism of mobilization.Mobilization by the CYL in network fields is a social movement and a youth movement in network fields which deeply remolds the mechanism connection between organizations and the network society.It is no more a pure issue of political communication,but a management issue involving various aspects such as collective action and political mobilization.As a result,the problems concerning the definition of action mechanism of network mobilization by the CYL and relational dimension of mobilization elements may follow,adding to the complexity and gradualness of research on such issue.Though the academic circle has realized the importance of the government's response to socialized network mobilization and the research on how to manage and cope with Internet social mobilization has been made in many literatures,there is no complete theoretical system for in-system forces to carry out network mobilization and only simple researches on non-government promoting network mobilization but few empirical researches based on a rigorous theoretical framework.Therefore,this dissertation establishes a structural equation model for network mobilization by the YCL to analyze its influence mechanism.This dissertation identifies the influential factors,establishes a systematic indicator system and teases out organizational mobilization,ideology,network field for social communication and cost risk factors of network mobilization by the CYL.Besides,it establishes a structural equation model for network mobilization by the YCL,proposes a relation hypothesis that organizational mobilization,network field for social communication and ideology affect the interactive participation through diffusion in relation chain of league organization,and with the diffusion in relation chain of league organization as the mediate process and the interactive participation as the mobilization result,demonstrates the mutual relation among various elements of the influence mechanism of network mobilization by the YCL and determines the effect degree of each element.Main work and conclusions of this dissertation are as follows:(1)A structural equation model,where organizational mobilization,network field for social communication and ideology influence interactive participation through diffusion in the relation chain of league organization with cost risk as a negative impact factor,is established to explain the mutual relation among various factors and verify the model hypothesis.A conclusion is drawn that organizational mobilization,ideology and network field for social communication play a positive role in promoting diffusion in relation chain and interactive participation while cost risk has a negative effect on interactive participation.(2)Various factors are sorted as per their influence on diffusion in relation chain of league organization and interactive participation and an analysis is made to the effect strength of each manifest variable.A conclusion is drawn that the sequence of the strength of influence on diffusion in relation chain of league organization and interactive participation from high to low is ideology,network field for social communication and organizational mobilization.More specifically,as to ideology,the original creativity of content has the largest influence on diffusion in relation chain and interactive participation,followed by the youth's mainstream issue,the youth's interest appeal and radical slogan and dogma and information form;as to network field for social communication,non-self-developed social platform and commercial network ecosystem for social communication have the largest influence on diffusion in relation chain and interactive participation,followed by the sharing degree of cross-platform login and the open interface;as to organizational mobilization,physical organization has a higher strength of influence on diffusion in relation chain and interactive participation than the CYL work done with electronic technology;as to cost risk,public service donation and page jump have the largest negative influence on interactive participation,followed by unrealizable mobilization result,stigmatization and political abstract term.(3)The mediation role of diffusion in relation chain of the league organization in network mobilization by the CYL is verified.A conclusion is drawn that diffusion in relation chain of the league organization plays a mediation role among the four factors,i.e.organizational mobilization,ideology and network field for social communication,and interactive participation.
