Information technology(IT) is changing the communication's mode and form of traditional education, and has brought unprecedented opportunities and challenges to the education teaching. In IT era, how to change the physical education teaching is related to the propulsion of national education informationize strategy and the future development of sports education. Nowadays, there are many difficulties for using IT to promote the improvement of physical education teaching in our country, and this embarrassing situation can not be analyzed and solved only rely on technology perspective, and more need exploring the corresponding countermeasures on the basis of in-depth analysis the characteristics of physical education teaching elements under the IT era.The essence of physical education teaching is communication activities in which using physical education class as the spread of channels between teachers and students. Therefore, this research in the perspective of communication theory, dialectical materialism and historical materialism as the basic position, using literature method, historical analysis, logical analysis, investigation, interview and case analysis, the research aims to search for the nature of the relationship between physical education teaching development and media progress from the changes of the IT, clears the requests of physical education teaching in IT on the basis of the analysis of characteristics of physical education teaching's context and object, clarifies physical education teaching reform thought on the basis of the evaluation of traditional physical education teaching effect in IT era, and finally gives a meaningful exploration on physical education teaching reform in IT era from four aspects:the physical education teaching target, teaching content, teaching methods and the physical education teacher.This thesis is divided into seven chapters:Chapter ? Introduction. At first, this chapter analyzed the research background of physical education teaching in IT era and combed the present situation of domestic and foreign related research, thus to find the breakthrough point of this research. This research chose communication theory as the horizon, determined its research object, selected its research content, collated its research idea, and based on this, structured its basic framework, proposed its research methods and analyzed its research innovation.Chapter ? Research on the technology motivation of physical education teaching reform in IT era. The charter used media function theory as its instruction, summarized the characteristics of physical education teaching in the different stages of media culture, and analyzed the significance of the development of IT for physical education teaching. Using media evolution as its clue, this research divided the history of physical education teaching into body and oral media, written media, print media, television media and multimedia network media stage, and interpreted the influence of media evolution for physical education teaching. Through the analysis of every media stage of physical education teaching, the research found that every media technology progress had impelled the transformation of physical education teaching content and methods, such as written media gradually made physical education teaching to formalization, standardization and normalization; printing media made physical education teaching to uniform and scale development; the appearance of television media changed the value of physical education teaching from inheriting culture to promoting the development of the learners; multimedia network media made physical education teaching to individuation, diversification and lifelong. With further exploring the regularity of physical education teaching reform under the evolution of information technology, the research found that the essence of physical education teaching reform is that physical education teaching subject actively seeks the solutions process of physical education teaching problem after cognizing physical education teaching regularity and media technical performance.Charter ? Research on the cultural motivation of physical education teaching reform in IT era. The charter used theory of media construction to analyze changes of physical educational context and object in IT era, and explore the impact of these changes on the traditional physical educational teaching. The researches show that IT builds a physical education teaching context which is widely different from the traditional physical education teaching. Environment of physical educational teaching shifts from the "physical exercise ground" into "physical exercise space", which provides an ideal place for physical educational teaching and technical support for the ubiquitous learning. The resources of physical educational teaching from "static" to "dynamic", it provides convenient, rich and personalized information resources for physical education teaching. In the context of physical educational teaching, teaching object's life and learning style are different from the traditional way of life, which formed life styles of depending on technology and teaching ways of positive exploration. These changes help students gradually grasp initiative of physical educational teaching, which has a strong impact on the traditional physical education. Physical educational teaching need urgent reforms to adapt the development trend of IT, and reforms should be carried out to focus on "student's needs and experience".Chapter ? Research on physical education teaching's effect and reform ideas. Under the guidance of communication effect theory, this chapter analyzes traditional physical education teaching effect from the angle of learners' needs and experience, and advances physical education teaching reform ideas in IT era. The researches show that learners' physical education learning no longer means acceptance and obedience in IT era, while traditional physical education teaching forgets the meaning of sports for learners on the teaching target, ignores the learner's life experience on teaching content, lacks dialogue with learners on teaching methods. But traditional physical education teaching-the face-to-face communication-is knowledge, sports skills and emotion information communication process between teachers and students; it is a purposing, planning and organizing communication activities; and creates the communication field of present communication between teaching subjects. Its communication characteristics can better meet the needs of students in getting the full development through physical education learning. Accordingly, the thought of physical education teaching reform in IT era is inheritance and innovation of traditional teaching, and optimizes or remodels the existing physical education teaching elements based on development needs of the times and characteristics of physical education curriculum.Chapter ? Research on physical education teaching reform strategy in IT era. Synthetically using communication theory, this chapter put forward ways of physical education teaching strategy reform in IT era from four aspects on the basis of comprehensive consideration about the characteristics of physical education teaching context, the physical education teaching object(digital natives) and physical education teaching communication in IT era. The research found that physical education teaching reform in IT era needed to spread from four aspects (the physical education teaching mission, physical education teaching content, physical education teaching method and physical education teachers):physical education teaching needs to shoulder era mission of cultivating wise sport-people; physical education teaching needs to find the teaching contents in the space of common sense of the teachers and students; physical education teaching should respect the dominant position of students, use constructing/exploring teaching methods together with students; physical education teachers needs to change identity, turn "teaching" to "guide", form dependent type of teacher-student interaction with digital natives.Chapter ? Research on the model of physical education teaching in IT era. On the basis of introducing the sport education teaching mode programs, this chapter analyzed characteristics of sport education teaching mode and its applicability in IT era, and summarized the enlightenment to physical education teaching practice in IT era. The research found that the sports education teaching mode is an ideal teaching model in IT era:in the aspect of teaching goal, it fits in with intelligent campaigner training target. In the aspect of teaching contents, it pays attention to the actual needs of students, students can absorb information and integrate it into their own knowledge structure.In the aspect of teaching method, it respects students' cognitive habits, insist student-centered, and emphasizes on exploring in teaching situation. Physical education teachers complete change of identity, as a student learning facilitator and leader. Sports education teaching mode gives physical education teaching reform in IT era some enlightenment:highlight the three-dimensional value of physical education teaching and cultivate sports learners of comprehensive development. Rationally develop physical education teaching resources and improve the quality of physical education teaching. Take full advantage from contextualized teaching, requires students in "learning by doing". Attach great importance to students' individualized instruction and guide the student to develop specifically.Chapter VII Conclusions and expectation. This chapter reviewed the full text of conclusions of this study on the basis of the main points discussed and views on the arguments of the logical system. Contrast to previous studies designed to evaluate the value and deficiency of this study in order to provide some inspiration and reference for future study of physical education teaching in IT era.
