With the development of Chinese fine arts course, regional folk arts course in rural areas changes accordingly. How to understand the development history of farmer painting course with local features in D county is an inevitable question researchers dedicated to digging out the regional folk art curriculum must face. Meticulous description and discussion about the overall development of farmer painting course in D county overall helps us to correctly understand its development process to make the correct judgment and decision so as to promote regional folk art course.With the research subject of "The development of farmer painting course in D County of Jilin Province ", the paper tries to deeply illustrate the development process of D county farmer painting course in order to reveal the whole mechanism and regularity during its development, thus to provide reference and basis for the further development of D county farmer painting course and the occurrence of other local and regional characteristic courses. In this paper, the philosophy of occurrence is used as methodology, and qualitative research method is used specifically together with partial quantitative analysis method. In the course of research, based on the idea of purposeful sampling,9 primary and secondary schools in 1 county,3 towns and 1 village were selected as the typical cases. Research mainly uses interview, classroom observation, questionnaire survey and text data collection to carry out related interviews and classroom teaching observation on 50 people including farmer painting artists, farmer painting authors, researchers, principals, teachers, students, parents and others and questionnaire some students in primary schools. The survey data is used for a better knowledge about the basic situation of the students and in-depth investigation into phenomenon of some farmer painting courses.What is the occurrence course of the farmer painting course in D county? What is the reason for its occurrence? First, starting from its origin in D County, setting a large number of real cases, pictures as of the research object as information focus to lead to the selection and adaptation of farmer painting courses in D county. Secondly, investigating and sorting out three stages of farmer painting course in a chronologically developing order, which are spontaneous exploration stage, development stage, and debugging and improvement stage. Finally, based on the summary of the "system tree" of farmer painting course in D County, analyzing the relationship between farmer painting and farmer painting course, namely:farmer painting in D County bred farmer painting courses and provided professional adaptive environment; farmer painting course is the bridge for future development of fundamental educational service farmer painting arts; farmer painting course refined and formed farmer painting arts and went beyond the arts; asynchronism existed between farmer painting course and farmer painting arts in their occurrence and development.What is the value of the farmer painting course in D county?
