The value of music education belongs to the category of music education philosophy.One's perspective and point of view for the value of music education will affect the understanding of the function and purpose of the value of music education and then will influence the practical actions of music education.However,there are two problems being neglected in the study of the value of music education.First,in the study of the value of music education,much attention has been paid to the music system,which has long been the dominant position in the world music,namely European major and minor key;But there are few studies on the value of music educational value from the development of music.Second,in the study of the value of music education,there is little discussion on the value of music education for young children.The research on the value of music education focuses on the field of school education.The theory of children's music education is mostly intuitive experience and lacks the research and discussion on the development of children's pentatonic ability.This study focuses on "pentatonic",aims to explore the general rules of young children's pentatonic developmental ability and finally finds out the enlightenment for the early childhood education.This study is divided into two parts:the first part is the theory,using the documentary method,exploring the developmental features in pentatonic ability of young children.The second part is the empirical part,using experimental method to explore the value of applying developmental features of young children's pentatonic ability to preschool musical education.The first part is about the theory.From the perspective of the wisdom of embryology,psychology of music and music education,the author analyzes and refers to many related research methods and achievements from different subjects,such as music archaeology,history,history of music education,music and foreign music history,music theory,music education.It comes to a general rule that the development of young children's pentatonic ability is from pentatonic to heptatonic by comparing the development of human music and cognitive psychology of children's music and by combing and analyzing the developmental features of young children's pentatonic ability.The second part is about the empirical study.By the experiment of preschool children aged 3-6 years old.on their ability of natural development of pentatonic,hearing and sense of debugging music and the research on the effects of rhythmic teaching on 3-6 years old children through the application of pentatonic to heptatonic music,the author starts the preliminary identification for the universal law of young children's pentatonic ability and begins the exploratory attempt for applying the general rule of young children's pentatonic ability development to preschool musical education.In this study,from two aspects of theoretical discussion and empirical test,the author discusses and analyses the developmental features of young children's pentatonic ability and the value of young children's pentatonic ability in the filed of preschool music education.The conclusion is as follows:Firstly,the development of young children's pentatonic ability has its unique features and it provides the basis for the pentatonic education.Secondly,the development from pentatonic to heptatonic is the developmental direction of young children's music education.Thirdly,during preschool education,young children's musical education,should attach great importance to its natural developmental rules and should use pentatonic to start the young children's music education.The conclusion of this study has two important implications and suggestions on how to develop young children's musical education in China:First,in preschool music education,we should pay more attention to the rules of the development of young children's pentatonic ability for the their musical study.Second,the musical education system which is taken Chinese folk music as native language should be actively constructed in preschool education.
