The Research Of Guozijian Ji Jiu In The Late Qing Dynasty

Described as change never happened in the past 3000 years,the late Qing era is period of reform from Chinese society.After 20 th years of Emperor Daoguang's reign,in order to maintain their own rights,rulers adjusted and reformed educational policy due to the consistent war between states.In the reformation of state education policy,Jijiu from Guozijian,revitalized traditional education by reforming traditional education methods whereas satisfied the state's need by putting forward new ways of education.Having vivid era values and significance,they made great contribution to reformation of Chinese education and transition of culture in recent era.Supported by the adjustment from rulers,Jijiu developed Guozijian positively during reconstruction of traditional of Guozijian in the late Qing dynasty.By contrast with situation in reign of Daoguang and Xianfeng,Emperor Tongzhi and Guangxu adjusted education policy by increasing budget,raise standard of hiring Jijiu,adapt structure of government student,and increased collection of books in Guozijian.Due to the improvement of hiring,Zijiu tried their best to reconstruct education of Guozijian during Emperor Tongzhi and Guangxu's reign.In the construction of education system of recent era,supported by the attempt of new methods of education,Guozijian created and practiced new education system,as contributed to reform of Guozijian in academy,culture,and education thoughts with by introducing western civilization of military,industry and technology.The traditional intellectuals comply with Confucianism so as to put forward into reform of traditional education: from advocation of abolishing eight-party employment to attempt of new ways of education in new school;from establishment of new education system to abolish imperial examinations,which made accomplishment of new breakthrough and transformation,and also establishment of recent era education.Represented by Jijiu,the Chinese intellectuals' political educational and academy thoughts changed greatly.They come out of the system of imprisonment,close and arrogance slowly,understand accept and publicize western civilization.These movements not only took a further step to education and civilization in recent era,but also made great contribution to transition from Chinese traditional culture to recent culture.
