In the transition period,the transformation of rural social values affected all members of rural society,especially the group of rural minors.Concerns about rural minors are essentially concerns about the formation and development of their values.Rural minors' values are the most basic views of rural minors on the various things and phenomena in their lives,their understanding,evaluation and decision-making.Research on rural minors' values and exploration to establish ways of education that suited the physical and mental characteristics of rural minors and their development needs not only can enrich and develop the theory of value education and provide reference for the improvement of the moral education system of the juvenile,but also can help rural minors establish correct scientific values,improve their healthy and comprehensive development,and had important theoretical and practical significance.The innovation of this research includes:In the aspect of research content,it focused on the growth status and behavior pattern of rural minors from the perspective of values,which could be seen as a useful complement in the research areas of rural minors and minors values;In the aspect of research methods,it abandoned the traditional abstract research methods,and introduced research methods such as sample surveys,questionnaires and others which put an emphasis on the positivist,combining macro research with micro-research,thus being innovative in the methodology.The values of rural juveniles are investigated and analyzed in nine aspects including economic values,moral values,survival values,life values,learning values,cultural values,aesthetic values,interpersonal values,and political values in order to have a better understanding of their values.Then statistical analysis of the research data is carried out using SPSS to achieve a more specific and true grasp of the current status of rural juveniles' values.The data reveal an overall positive tendency of the values of rural juveniles,and contradictions between value cognition and value behavior,between the ideal value and realistic choice,which require some serious attention?Factors influencing the formation and development of the values of rural juveniles range from broad aspects of rural economy,politics and culture,family environment,school environment and community environment,to narrow aspects of individual and peer group factors.In view of this,the government,society,family,school and community should take positive action to grasp the rural reality and the reasonable needs of rural juveniles and protect their vital interests.It is essential to make scientific,specific analysis of factors influencing the formation and development of the values of rural juveniles,learn from domestic and foreign advanced practical experience and theoretical system of values education,establish new innovative mechanisms and systems,and carry out effective guiding and educational activities for rural juveniles.On the basis of investigation and factor analysis,the paper then discusses how to build a rural juveniles' values education system,which is also the core of the study.In this part,rational thinking and practical exploration are combined to analyze basic principles,main content,force integration and path exploration regarding rural juveniles'values education.The paper ends by stressing again the importance of studying the values of rural juveniles after all the above analysis and indicating that values cultivation is a long-term task that calls for unremitting efforts.
