The Study On Industry Low Carbonizition Of Central Region In China

Global climate change is an indisputable fact already, and it is the focus of attention in the world. As the largest developing country, China has been facing the great emission reduction pressure at home and abroad. The central region of China is also facing the great pressure and severe situation in the transformation economic development way and energy-saving emission reduction, these provinces of central region are important energy bases and old industrial bases in our country. It's an important measure to promote the low-carbon development of industry in order to improve its regional competitiveness and materialize its sustainable development for these provinces, besides; it is also an important way to construct the resource conserving and environment friendly society. Therefore, this paper mainly analyzed the process of industrial low carbonization after researching the industry development situation of central region in China.The content mainly focuses on the following aspects:first, the research backgrounds and significances as well as domestic and foreign research review are explained; second, industrial low carbonization and its relative theory are introduced; third, the current situation of industrial development and carbon emission are analyzed; then the industrial low carbonization is used to analyze the low carbonization of central region from the perspective of region?industry and trade. After that the influencing factor of industrial low carbonization is analyzed using the panel data, countermeasure and suggestions are given at last. Specific content as follows:The first chapter is an introduction. The research background and significance is introduced at first, and then the research findings in the field of low carbon economy was analyzed from the aspects from low carbon economy?low carbon industry and industrial low carbonization. The research content and the innovation of this paper is given at last.The second chapter is the industrial low carbonization and its theory analysis. The concept of industrial low carbonization is given at first, and then the realizing route of industrial low carbonization is researched. The ecological footprint theory? decoupling theory and the theory of the environmental kuznets curve are introduced, these three theories are the theoretical basis of industrial low carbonization.The third chapter is the current situation of industry development and carbon emission. The economical development character as well as the opportunities and challenges during the industrial development are researched in the first part, and then this paper analyzed the current situation of carbon emission of these six provinces in central region of China, at last the LMDI method is used to analyze the influencing factors of carbon emission. The result shows that the total amount and per capita carbon emission increased much and there is a big distinction among six provinces, the second industry and coal has taken a large share in the industry structure and energy structure's carbon emission; the spread of economic scale is the main factor leading the increase of carbon emission, the second factor leading the increase of emission is the industry structure, but the energy intensity has decreased the emission to some extent, and the change of energy structure and carbon emission coefficient has no obvious effect to the total carbon emission.The chapter IV is the empirical analysis of the industrial low carbonization of six provinces in the central region. The industrial low carbonization is researched using the established index from the perspective of region?trade and industry, meanwhile, the results is compared with Shandong?Jiangsu?Liaoning?Zhejiang and Guangdong provinces in the east region of China. The results show that there is a big fluctuation among the industrial low carbon index for these six provinces, it shows that the low-grade low carbonization-high-grade low carbonization-low-grade low carbonization according to the researching period. The industrial low carbonization presents downtrend of these six provinces on the whole. Besides, there is large difference among the low carbonization in the area of industry. The sub-trade low carbonization is researched at last using the data of2000-2011of Jiangxi province, the result also showed these trades are different. The tobacco industry?manufacture of electrical machinery and equipment?communication equipment computer and other light industry have high low carbonization index.The Chapter V is the empirical analysis of influencing factors of the industrial low carbonization of these six provinces in the central region using the static and the dynamic panel data. The result shows that the energy efficiency and the GDP per capita can promote the level of industrial low carbonization, while the energy structure and industrial structure have the opposite function to the promotion of industrial low carbonization, the population density does not affect the low carbonization obviously.The last chapter is the suggestion to promote the level of industrial low carbonization. Suggestions are given from the perspective of industry policy?financial policy?carbon exchange market and the international cooperation.
