| The six central provinces of China is China’s important industrial base, the enterpriseR&D efficiency is highly related to regional economic development, with the six centralprovinces of China implemented the strategy of independent innovation, it is necessary tokeep pace with understanding enterprise’s R&D input-output efficiency, this means a lotfor the enterprise better developing R&D activities and promoting the speed of the centralregionThe article based on data come from the second economic census and the nationalindustrial enterprise science and technology activities statistics of2011. Using themathematical statistics method and the related models of DEA to evaluate R&Dinput-output efficiency of the large and medium-sized industrial enterprise which arelocated in the centre provinces of china. In the index selection, using the general index ofR&D activities division standard, input index include personnel who participate in R&Dactivities and the R&D investment funds, the value of new products, the number of opatent application as the output index, using the two commonly used DEA evaluationmodels—BCC and CCR, with six provinces and the central overall and the national as thedecision unit, making evaluation for the industrial enterprise of the central region of theinput-output efficiency. The results showed that, the differences in R&D activities of thelarge and medium-sized manufacturing enterprise are not only in scale but also in efficiency.For the DEA invalid provinces, further analyzed the invalid reasons, and promoted thesolutions to improve the invalid unit goal and efficiency improvement direction, making theresearch for effectiveness of central industrial enterprise’s technology activities more deepand concrete, the conclusion can provide evidence for some related department’s decisions. |
