Innovation is the key factor to maintain the competitive advantage of the enterprise.As an enterprise’s creative resources,intellectual capital whether improves enterprise’s innovation or not? Besides,because intellectual capital itself is a concept that includes human capital,structural capital,social capital,relational capital,etc.,it involves the individual level and organizational level,whether these demisions exist conflict or not,and of all these demisions which can promote innovation and whose effect will be non-significant even negative? These effects produce through what mechanism? All of above are important issues that need to be solved in practice.Unfortunately,there are differences in the existing research conclusions.Due to the existence of the differences,the fragmentation of the research hotspot which is difficult to form a unified pattern,did not establish a clear bridge with the surrounding related theory,and even more,the guiding role to management practice is minimal,which is also explained an important question of practitioners which are they have felt the important role of intellectual capital,but do not know how to utilize it and proceed it.In view of this,it is important to clarify the composition of the intellectual capital,explore the impact of each dimension on innovation,and reveal the mechanism of the process,form the organic framework which is combined with the related concepts.Therefore,this dissertation which focuses on the critical problem of the above which is from both theory and practice centers on the study of core issue based on how intellectual capital influencing innovation.Based on the theory of innovation,intellectual capital and human resource management,this dissertation constructs the function mechanism of "intellectual capital-innovation" as the main line,and gradually in-depth study on the mechanism of the process.On this basis,using empirical research methods,the research is gradually advancing,forming the following three closely related issues:(1)What is the impact of the various dimensions of intellectual capital on innovation type and product innovation performance?(2)What role will organizational learning will play in the relationship between intellectual capital and innovation performance?(3)Can human resource management promote innovation? Does the different environment influence the effects of human resource management on innovation?This dissertation mainly focuses on the impact of intellectual capital on innovation,analysis the relationship between the various dimensions of intellectual capital and innovation,analyses the above problems using methods of literature analysis,questionnaires and measuring model and etc.This dissertation promote and enrich the research of the relationship between intellectual capital and innovation performance,recover the role of organizational learning in the relationship of them,and on this basis,first puts forward and verify the effect mechanism of exploration human resource management and the exploitation human resource management on innovation performance,and mainly draws the following conclusions:(1)The role of human capital in the process of innovation has not been fully played at the present stage of Chinese enterprises;(2)Social capital,especially the external social capital,has a very significant impact on innovation;(3)Organizational learning plays an intermediary role in the relationship between the dimensions of the intellectual capital and the innovation;(4)Different types of human resource management practices should be used to improve the innovation performance under different environment.
