| Under the background of innovation-driven development,innovative industrial cluster enterprises not only are the important development carrier of regional innovation,but also are the fundamental measures of developing endogenous power,solving contradiction and strengthening economic strength.Made in China 2025 and National Innovation-driven Development Outline 2050 clearly pointed to innovate,optimize and make effort constantly so as to cultivate the industrial clusters and enterprise groups with core competitiveness.The continuous innovation ability of cluster enterprises is the crucial foundation for promoting the competitiveness of industrial clusters.Since cluster enterprises are facing the urgent demand for transformation and upgrading,continuous innovation is the important issue as well as only way both at present and in the future;meanwhile,it also is the significant innovative approach suitable for Chinese national conditions.The complex social network,innovation resource and innovation ability among innovative industrial cluster enterprises and inside enterprises formed abundant social capital,which is a kind of valuable resource,ability and relationship.Besides,enterprise dynamic capabilities is a kind of overall improvement ability,so the effective utilization of cluster enterprises' social capital will generate significant influence on enterprise continuous innovation.Based on sorting related literatures,it can be known that,the previous researches on innovation in the view of continuity are few and analysis of influencing continuous innovation from the perspective of social capital is a gap;although existing researches,from the single viewpoints of enterprise overall,internal and external social capital are abundant,the in-depth researched from multi-perspectives such as inside,outside,various dimensions and inside and outside collaboration are insufficient;the integrated researches on innovative industrial cluster enterprises,social capital,dynamics capabilities and continuous innovation are inadequate,so the relevant mechanism action remains to be further revealed and verified.By taking the continuous innovation of cluster enterprises as research object,starting with social capital,introducing dynamic capabilities,and focusing on the core issue that how enterprises utilize social capital to promote and enhance continuous innovation ability,this article researched the influence relationship among cluster enterprises' social capital,dynamic capabilities,and continuous innovation performance.The theoretical and empirical research achievements in this article enriched continuous innovation theory,social capital theory and dynamic capability theory,which proposed new viewpoints and solving ideas for enhancing the continuous innovation ability and performance of innovative industrial cluster enterprises.Focusing on the core issue that this article planed to research,this study preliminarily explored the influence relationship between social capital and continuous innovation performance based on briefly elaborating the theory and literature related to research topic and through the exploratory case study of 4 innovative industrial cluster enterprises.Secondly,by means of normative research method and SCP paradigm,it proposed the general research framework of the core issue that this article planed to research,which is “corporate social capital—dynamic capabilities—continuous innovation performance”.After analyzing and expounding the relationship among variables,this study revealed the mechanism action of cluster enterprises' social capital on enterprise dynamics capabilities and continuous innovation performance,and proposed corresponding research hypothesis.The entire empirical research can be divided into three sub-studies: 1.Analysis of Influence of External Social Capital on Continuous Innovation of Innovative Industrial Cluster Enterprises;2.Analysis of Influence of Internal Social Capital on Continuous Innovation of Innovative Industrial Cluster Industrial Enterprises;3.Analysis of Collaborative Influence of Enterprise Internal and External Social Capital.Thirdly,the three sub-studies were analyzed and verified through the questionnaire of bio-pharmaceutical innovative industrial cluster enterprises in Guangzhou development zone,and comprehensively applying the methods of reliability analysis,confirmatory factor analysis,structural equation modeling and multiple regression analysis,the social capital and dynamic capabilities were dissected so as to act on the action mechanism of continuous innovation performance and collaborative influence of internal and external social capital.The demonstration indicated that,enterprise external social capital has positive influence on continuous innovation performance through dynamic capabilities;enterprise internal social capital has positive influence on continuous innovation performance through dynamic capabilities;dynamic capabilities plays the mediating effect;there is collaborative influence in internal and external social capital.The main conclusions and research findings of this research are as follows:1.The social capital of innovative industrial cluster enterprises plays positive influence on cultivating and promoting dynamic capabilities.By virtue of innovative cluster and innovation network advantages,to cultivate structural dimension external social capital can help cluster enterprises absorb growing resources,implement opportunity identification and capture,and reinforce enterprise proactiveness,which is beneficial to the improvement of enterprise dynamic capabilities.The good interactive relationship and quality maintained by employees and departments(teams)inside innovative industrial cluster enterprises can drive the absorption and integration of dynamic capabilities,reconstruction ability and learning capacity so as to advance corporate dynamic capabilities.2.Dynamic capabilities obviously promotes the continuous innovation performance of innovative industrial cluster enterprises,including enhancing their opportunity perceptual skill,helping enterprises acquiring more information and knowledge,and recognizing more innovation opportunities.The improvement of absorption and integration ability will reinforce the flexibility of organization in innovation resource allocation,production and innovation.The enhancement of reconstruction ability helps enterprises adapt to market demands and technical requirements.The promotion of learning capacity is conducive to converting enterprise potential opportunities into new products as well as technologies.3.By means of dynamic capabilities,the social capital of innovative industrial cluster enterprises generates positive influence on continuous innovation performance,among which dynamic capabilities plays mediating effect.The acting patch is that,the internal and external social capital,various dimensions,and collaboration of inside and outside affect and enhance enterprise opportunity perceptual skill,absorption and integration abilities,and reconstruction and learning capacities to advance the improvement of enterprise continuous innovation performance. |
