On Construction And Utilization Of Fujian And Taiwan Traditional Rrural Settlement Landscape Characteristics Library

Traditional rural settlement landseape is the product of thousands of year's eulture between Fujian and Taiwan,which is also the historical evidence of cross-strait cultural,within the important heritage values,landscape values,tourism and social values.China,Fujian and Taiwan Province have begun to pay attention to the protection and development of traditional rural settlements along the bearing.From the current research and practice perspective,the research of traditional rural settlement landscape between Fujian and Taiwan is still relatively weak,and related researches mainly around its traditional houses,ignoring the integrity of traditional rural settlement landscape,it is not comprehensive and less emphasis on system integration of its research and management.Therefore,the project of this study proposes constructing landscape characteristic library of traditional rural settlement between Fujian and Taiwan which aims to make the form of a comprehensive study on the implementation of its characteristic features of the library collection and integration,based on the comprehensive study of traditional rural settlement,and the future of traditional Fujian and Taiwan provide theoretical and methodological development and application of learning in terms of the protection of the landscape of rural settlements.The main contents of this study are as follows:The first chapter presents background of this research,the goal and meaning,ideas and methods,features and innovations;second chapter reviews the landscape status and research specialties of traditional rural settlements at home and abroad,analysis the current research status and progress of traditional rural settlements in Fujian and Taiwan,describes the applications and effections of landscape characteristic library in other areas;the third chapter analyzes the cultural and historic background of the scenery of traditional rural settlements in Fujian and Taiwan,required samples for this study were screened,57 were selected for the study in Fujian,51 in Taiwan,this chapter also analyzed the distribution and status of those samples;The fourth Chapter is based on previous studies,with multi-disciplinary research methods,from settlement niche research perspective to build a theoretical framework for the study of traditional rural settlement,analyzing the appearance and evolution of traditional rural settlement in the view of settlement niche,providing that traditional rural settlement landscape has a three-dimensional characteristics--" spatial dimensions-technical dimension-culture dimensions," and analyzed under traditional rural village landscape class dimensions of various types of landscape structure,identifying targets and path characteristics eigenvalues.This chapter also proposes a form of building up Landscape characteristic library;and analyzes its construction principle and contents constitute;The fifth/sixth/seventh Chapter is from the perspective of spatial dimensions-technical dimension-culture dimensions,using 108 as study samples to summarize and recognize eigenvalues and characteristic index of traditional rural settlements between Fujian and Taiwan.The eighth Chapter is based on landscape dimensiona/landscape structure/eigenvalues and characteristic index,as basic framework and content of feature library constructed.Through screening questionnaire and interval estimation method and finalize the landscape dimension,thus completing the construction of the library features.Try to use Web technology support,establishing database search site of traditional rural settlements between Fujian and Taiwan,as an management example to traditional rural settlements between Fujian and Taiwan.The ninth Chapter through expert questionnaires,select the characteristic index which influences the diversity of traditional rural settlements between Fujian and Taiwan.and according to eigenvalues in feature library collection,using K-modes clustering method on 108 samples.According to the results of the settlement,trying to draw a traditional rural settlement landscape zoning map,to summarize the typical characteristics of each sub-landscape areas and landscape areas.Finally proposes strategy protective applications of traditional rural settlements between Fujian and Taiwan.There are three innovative points in this study:first,the innovation research perspective:based on the unique perspective of settlement niche,recognize the emergence and evolution characteristics of the settlement landscape,proposed three dimensional characteristics of traditional rural settlement landscape,the spatial dimension,technieal dimension and cultural dimension,from these three-dimensional to induct the eigenvalues of traditional rural settlement landscape,provide the support of theory and method for preserving the traditional rural settlement landscape ecology,culture,integrity.Second,innovative research ideas:the idea proposed construction of the feature database of traditional rural settlement between Fujian and Taiwan which aims to summarize a collection of eigenvalues of traditional rural settlement landscape,providing theoretical applieations for its work to protect the future of landscape identification.The database search sites of landscape traditional rural settlement was designed which based on Web technologies;build for the future"Internet Landscape Architecture" doing exploratory work.Third,innovative research methods:in the study of traditional rural settlement landscape of Fujian and Taiwan,the first use of screening interval estimation method and determined the framework of signatures,reducing the build process signatures subjectivity;the first use of K-modes poly class analysis the type,characteristics and distribution of traditional rural settlement landscape,enrich the methods of traditional rural settlement landscape studies.
