Architectural Planning Under Equal Consideration Of Both Outside And Inside Users In The Urban Village Community

Since the beginning of this century,reconstruction of urban village is widely common in major cities of China.Especially in the recent years,the reconstruction of urban villages across the mid-west of China has been typically in a rapid process.Hence the number of urban village is growing fast as well.However,due to location environment,reconstruction mode,stakeholders,concept of reconstruction and other factors,the urban village reconstructions in different districts are highly consistent in terms of architecture form,spatial layout and functions.The idea of open spatial environment of urban village and the positive role of city economic development has today been widely paid attention by academics.The reconstruction under comprehensive consideration of all sides and sharing has become the mainstream.Construction of reconstructing urban village is the material achievement of policies and models and also reflects the needs of villagers and other interest parties.Based on the current situation investigation of urban village building space,this study finds that the reconstruction of urban village satisfies the reasonable villagers' needs for residential space,but also outsiders' requirements for improving living,residential conditions,and villagers' citizenization transitioning.Therefore,the rationality of construction model for future urban village will face serious challenge.By probing into the policy factors of urban village and the case studies at home and abroad under the concept of renewal of old district in foreign and home country,this study summarizes the lessons of the relevant cases,proposes the idea of architectural space planning for both inside and outside users and correspondingly carries out the architectural space planning research.Due to the large amount of the urban villages in the mid-west and the limitation of research resource and time,this study will focus on the city villages in Xi'an only.Based on urban village' classification,there are two typical types of urban villages as of investigation,which focus on changes of community structure,the composition of the building space and the replacement of outside and inside people before and after reconstruction.Then the main problems of urban villages' architectural space are as followings:1.From the macro aspect,it only completes the urban village itself reconstruction,but does not extend the urban community function attribute.2.The village characteristics and inheritance of culture that are neglected in the level of planning,which are in sharp contrast to the diversity of previous function and spatial organization.3.From the micro aspect,one-sided attention to the villagers residential space.As a result,the necessary comprehensive facilities and the commercial space turn to be inadequate.The old districts reconstruction cases in developed countries indicate the referential experiences in respecting the complexity and diversity of city,inheritance of city's spatial pattern and culture and strengthening the diversity of architectural space and the concept of humanized reconstruction of mixed living mode,and preserving the ancient lifestyle of residents.The theory of urban village architectural space construction contains four aspects.1.Constructing village community structure.2.Satisfying the special the demands of the users inside and outside village community.3.Continuing the spatial structure of the original community system.4.Arranging and improving community functions.The functions of community in reconstruction of urban village includes three levels: residential district,community and city.Three types of architectural space composition of community in reconstruction of urban village have been formed.They are community center,community sub-center and community subordinate.And further analysis of spatial combination under different function of community has been carried out.1.Based on the particularity of spatial construction around public housing,food market,villagers,the analysis and summary of various spatial components for construction method has been carried out.2.The space diversity of living,catering and commercial service should be achieved from the spatial combination level.Therefore,the analysis of suitability of the spatial opponent combination should be conducted at individual building level.3.Placing individual building in reconstruction community,analyzing combination and layout mode,the research aims at different types of reconstruction community,and summarizes architectural spatial combination mode of community in reconstruction of urban village concerning both inside and outside users.
