Study On The Community Outdoor Recreational Space

Approving of the conception about human-based ideology, based on the view of sustainable-development, this thesis has researched on outdoor recreational space of city community.Proceeding social and economic function also individual meaning of recreational action, this essay pointed out the importance and necessity of city outdoor space for recreation and analyzed the actual conditions both in domestic and in developed countries. The essay studied city recreational space, whose main forms are recreation city, gymnasium, recreational square and etc. And after this it proceeded to the first step study on the characteristic of community recreational outdoors space.Passed to on-site environmentally inspection on different communities, checked the related datum and drew lessons from the related research results of the recreational space system of abroad, this thesis joined together the realistic condition of our country, and it proposes the systematic conceptualization on community outdoor recreational space, whose main forms including different recreational spaces in different side residential area, also that between houses and so on. On the base of this system, the thesis comes up with two doable modes for community street planning, they are Greenbelt- Joggingway-Sidewalk-Bikeway-Street and Joggingway- Greenbelt- Sidewalk- Bikeway-Street.Lastly, the thesis also proposes the particular space factors and design skills. The author wishes they would be helpful for urban design and architectural design.
