In the past ten years,the construction of Beijing subway gains remarkable achievements.The subway is becoming an important way to serve residents,relieve traffic congestion and reduce environmental pollution.But,with the rapid construction,Beijing subway meets many problems of congestion,insufficient traffic,or the tidal traffic.For these problems,many scholars do the research from the view of subway network or the stations and propose strategies from the perspective of traffic engineering.But this paper do the research on the interaction between land use and passenger flow form the view of station area and propose strategies from the perspective of urban planning,in order to realize the coordination of land use and passenger flow capacity of subway station.The main conclusions are as follows:Firstly,the interaction between land use and passenger flow includes three aspects: density,diversity,and accessibility.(1)Density factors have strong positive correlation with passenger flow.The influence of density on peak passenger flow,weekday passenger flow and weekend passenger flow decreases in turn.Functional factors,location factors and socio-economic factors will influence the interaction between the density of station areas and passenger flow.(2)The interaction between diversity and the passenger flow is derived from the interaction between the different land use and the passenger flow.In general,diversity factors have positive correlation with passenger flow and they can balance the distribution of passenger flow.(3)Accessibility factors include two aspects of traffic accessibility and spatial accessibility.The traffic accessibility has great influence on passenger flow.The location accessibility can improve passenger flow through the land use,but the improvement is poor.Secondly,to OD passenger flow,the influence of early peak destination station is greater than the evening peak origin station.In other words,the density of office station areas have great influence on OD passenger flow.The mixed land use of origin and destination stations can improve OD passenger flow.The accessibility between origin and destination station,especially the transference,will influence OD passenger flow.Thirdly,the synergistic planning concludes three strategies of density,diversity and accessibility.(1)We need to guide the density of station areas according to function,location and socioeconomic status.(2)The strategy of diversity need to take a regional perspective to obtain a mixed land use of a regional area.At the regional scale,match the rational composition of all kinds of stations in the same line.At the station scale,match the rational composition of all kinds of land-use.(3)The strategy of accessibility is to achieve the synergies between land use and accessibility.This paper extends the 3D model of the TOD theory,and puts forward the planning strategy for subway stations in the city of high density in Asia.
