In the context of economic globalization,internationalization of higher education,and transformation and upgrading of industry in China,how to reform Chinese higher engineering education in China,transform China from a country of higher engineering education of high quantity into a country of higher engineering education of high quality,to meet the social and economic urgent demand of high quality engineering and technical personnel,has become the hotspot in the research field of higher engineering education in recent years.The internationalization of higher engineering education,that is,by drawing on foreign higher engineering educational concepts and practical experience,gathering international and domestic resources to accelerate the pace of China's higher engineering education reform,training for China and the world all kinds of top-notch innovative talents,has become China's higher engineering education must be selected strategy.It will also promote China's higher education and the world's higher engineering education,the global economy fully integrated.Systematic analysis and research on the various factors and dimensions of China's higher engineering education from the perspective of strategic management,exploring the strategic path of engineering education,will be conducive to the development of higher engineering education in China and enhance the international competitiveness of China's higher engineering education institutions.Based on this,this paper defines the concept and connotation of internationalization of higher engineering education and engineering education by using the idea and method of strategic management,combining with theory of higher education management,internationalization of higher education,professionalism and human capital theory,deeply analyzes the background of the internationalization of China 's higher engineering education;Then it expounds the current situation of the internationalization of China's higher engineering education,the problems of the present stage of China's higher engineering education,and the external international environment and development opportunities.Based on the analysis of the developed countries and engineering education successful universities,this paper compares the development models and characteristics of higher engineering education in advanced countries such as France,USA,Germany and Japan.Based on the comparison of theoretical analysis and international cases study,this paper explores the factors and dimensions that influence the internationalization of China's higher engineering education and constructs the performance model of the internationalization of China's higher engineering education.Through the form of a questionnaire survey,Structural equation model analysis was carried out by using SPSS and Amos software,the model is verified.On the basis of the model verification,the paper proposes the path of China's higher engineering education internationalization,proposed the strategic guarantee system of the of China's higher engineering education internationalization development,Finally,the paper analyzes the practice of internationalization of higher engineering education in Southwest Jiaotong University by using the theory of higher education,internationalization theory,strategic management theory.This paper combines theoretical and practical case analysis.This paper analyzes the external environment and development status of internationalization of higher engineering education in China,and systematically analyzes the factors influencing the internationalization of higher engineering education,and constructs the development performance model of highr engineering education internationalization,which enriches the connotation of the internationalization of China's higher engineering education.It not only provides theoretical support for the internationalization of China's higher engineering education,but also provides a reference for China's higher engineering education reform practice.
