Objective:To observe the effect of non-drug therapy in traditional Chinese medicine on the quality of life of postoperative rehabilitation patients with non-small-cell lung cancer,in order to provide new therapeutic ideas for postoperative rehabilitation of lung cancer.Methods:65 patients with non-small cell lung cancer during postoperative rehabilitation period were selected from the respiratory department and oncology department of Jiangsu Privince Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine.33 patients were assigned to the experimental group,32 patients were assigned to the control grouo. In the experimental group, the patients received routine nursing plus non-drug therapy in traditional Chinese medicine. The specific treatment plan was:qigong therapy, music therapy and diet therapy were choosed.Ba Duan Jin exercise was selected as qigong therapy, starting from 10min a day for 2 days a week and gradually reaching to 30min a day for 3-5 days a week.In the music therapy, the music was selected according to the patient's constitution, and tell the patients to listen to the music once a day for 20-30min per time.In the diet therapy, the cooking methods which were suitable to various kinds of lung cancer in Chinese medicine, were provided to the patients, and the patients could choose 1 or 2 methods to cook for the meal a day.Patients in the control group received routine nursing, including health education, condition observation, medication instruction, diet nursing and psychological nursing.6MWD,Borg scores, score of each item in FACT-L 4.0 survival quality scale,SAS scores and SDS scores in the two groups were measured after 12 weeks.Results:(1)Among the 65 patients,3 patients in the experimental group were eliminated who did not complete the entire intervention as required,30 effective samples were obtained, and the loss rate was 9.09%in the finally. In the control group, one patient withdrew from the trail on himself, another patient was eliminated because of participating in taijiquan exercise during the intervention,30 effective samples were obtained, and the loss rate was 6.25%in the finally. After ?2 test, there was no statistically significant difference(?2=0.185,P=0.667)between the two groups, which meant the trail could be continued.(2)The comparision of SAS and SDS scores between two groups:After 12 weeks of non-drug therapy intervention, the SAS and SDS scores in the experimental group were significantly lower than before(P<0.05).After the intervention, the SAS and SDS scores in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).(3)The scores of each items of FACT-L 4.0 survival quality scale in the two gruops:After the intervention, the items and total scores of life quality in the experimental group were significantly higher than before(P<0.05).Compared to the control group, the physiological status,social/family status, functional status, the additional attention status and total score in the experimental group significantly increased(P<0.05).(4)The comparision of 6MWD and Borg scores between two groups:After the intervention, the 6MWD in the experimental group was significantly increased compared with that in the before before(P<0.05),however the Borg scores were significantly lower than before(P<0.05),After the intervention, compared with the control group, the 6MWD in the experimental group significantly increased(P<0.05),while the Borg score decreased, but there was no statistical significance between the difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:Non-drug therapy of traditional Chinese medicine can significantly improve the exercise tolerance of postoperative rehabilitation patients with lung cancer, improve their negative emotions such as anxiety and depression, and improve the quality of life after surgery, which can provide a new therapeutic idea for the postoperative rehabilitation after lung cancer.
