Study On The Relationships Between The Art And The Capital

The relationships between the art and the capital are becoming closer.Espeaiclly the relationships between the serious art and capital are relatively estrganed and marginalized,and the relationships between the entertainment art and the capital are relatively closer and centralized.In this dissertation,the complexity of the relationships between these two different types of the art and the capital,is analyzed historically,concretely and dialectically with Marxist standpoint and method.In addition to the introduction and the conclusion,there are five chapters in the main body.In the preface,the author comb the domestic and foreign research status about the relationships between thr art and the capital and the classification of art types.And it puts forward the research methods and research ideas on the basis of the research results at home and abroad.The first chapter analyzes the character of the serious art and the entertainment art.This dissertation intends to use the artistic value orientation and functional distinction as the criteria for divition to distinguish the serious art and the entertainment art.Secondly,it analyzes the nature and characteristics of the serious art and the entertainment art.The serious art has the transcendental aesthetic nature.The characteristics of the serious art are reflective and critical.The entertainment art has the secular aesthetic nature,the characteristics of which are discharged and recreative.Thirdly,the dissertation explores the differences of the aesthetic nature between the serious art and the entertainment art with Lao She's The Death Dealing Spear and Jin Yong's The Legend of The Heavenly Sword and The Slaying Dragon Saber.At last,it discusses the relative division and interrelation between the serious art and the entertainment art.The second chapter analyzes the union,estrangement and the alienation of the serious art and the capital.The union of the serious art and the capital embodies the fact that the capital promotes the economic independence and artistic independence of the serious artistic production,and enhances and spreads the position of artistic consumption.The estrangement of the serious art and capital is embodied in three aspects:inefficient,individualized mode of production and the capital;the mode of consumption and profit maximization of the capital;and the transcendental aesthetic nature and the capital.Then it discusses the main reasons of the isolation of the serious art and capital:the modern science and technology with the serious backed by the capital,and the serious art cannot adapt to the high pressure modern society.Finally,it analyzes the alienation of the serious art caused by the capital that is,the anti-capital stance of the production of the serious art indirectly strengthens the domination of capital,and the speculative and exaggerated consumption.In the third chapter,the author discusses the breakthrough path of the serious art against the capital.The serious art opposes the capital at the three levels:insisting on the transcendental aesthetic nature.It analyzes the esthetics nature of the serious art insisting on transcendence,manifesting as the production of the reminiscent classical art and the anti-abstactnes modern art,as well as the promotion of the deep thought and the suppression of the fast food consumption.Then it explores the leading direction of the serious art insisting on the spiritual character,which is embodied in four aspects:taking the equal attitude of understanding and compassion into people's life;seeking the richness of the spititual world;showing the three-dimensional and complex existence of contemporary China;insisting on reflection and criticism to the secular life.it explores the fine tradition of the serious arts which is caring for the world and pursuing justice.The fourth chapter analyzes the union,estrangement and the alienation of the entertainment art and capital.The spread of the entertainment art restricting the popularization of its own,and the weakness of the artistic discourse power of the art itself lead to the estrangement of the entertainment art from the capital.Then it discusses the deep union between the entertainment art and the capital.It has the following manifestations:the modern science and technology and the new art type;the high-efficiency and formula-oriented mode of production is fit for he capital;the relative mass consumption mode coincides with the capital profit for maximization;the secular aesthetic nature and the capital.It explores the main reasons why the entertainment art can be deeply associated with the capital:the manipulation of the capital-science on the entertainment art with technology,it's high dependence of entertainment on capital,and the fit for the high-pressure modern society.Finally,it demontrartes the alienation of the entertainment art which is resulted by capital from three aspects:the profit-oriented production;the excessive rendering of violence and pornography;the resistance posture of anti-formula production and the kernel of flattering the capital.In the fifth chapter,the author discusses the breakthrough path of the entertainment art against the capital.The specific means of the entertainment art resisting agaist the capital include as follows:insisting on the secular aesthetic nature;sticking to the promotion of the spiritual character.First of all,the entertainment art insists on the secular aesthetic nature from three aspects:the construction of the fantasy world,the simple original way,non-deep consumption.And then it analyze the promotion-oriented of the spirit character of the entertainment art specifically including concerning about people's existence in writing;providing boutique with compact narrative;creating the moral implication products;enriching human's feeling,and so on.The final conclusion is that the complicated relationships between the art and the capital are contradictory and unified.In the contradiction between the art and capital is mainly embodied in the historical restrictment and promotion of the capital to the art,which forces the art pay attention to the overall survival of the majority of people,the specific social traditions,and strive to produce the artistics and economic superb works.The connection between the art and capital is mainly embodied in the value-leading of the art on the capital,which as an target of free human nature and free will,could promote the capital pursuing profit-oriented and the utilitarian and monotonous secular life aesthetically which is compeled by the capital.The art should exert its function of aesthetic criticism and cultural guidance of the capital.And the capital should influence each other,and ultimately serve the comprehensive liberation of mankind as the ultimate goal of Marxism.
