Abstract/Summary:
Classifiers are one of the parts of speech with characteristics in Chinese lexical system,while the international students often make mistakes when learning Chinese.Among them,shape-based classifiers can reflect the shape feature semantically,and this kind of classifiers are flexible in the choice of nouns.In this dissertation,14 shape-based classifiers with similar semantics are chosen from modern Chinese classifier system as the object of the study.The study focuses on semantic features and the collocation rules and further understand the similarities and dissimilarities of shape-based classifiers with similar semantics.Eight Chapters with introduction and conclusion are made up of this dissertation.The first chapter is the introduction.This chapter mainly explains the topic and significance of this dissertation,summarizes the previous research and briefly describes the main theoretical background and corpus sources,and clarifies the object and method of this study.The second chapter mainly reviews the definition and classification of classifiers in Chinese and Korean.Firstly,the definition and classification of classifiers in Chinese and Korean are summarized.Secondly,this chapter makes a conclusion of the definition and classification of shape-based classifiers in Chinese and Korean.In addition,the similarities and dissimilarities of shape-based classifiers in Chinese and Korean are talked about.The study is based on the above.The third chapter mainly studies the Chinese dot-based classifiers which are similar in meaning and usage.After analysing semantic features and collocation differences of Chinese classifiers ‘ke’ ‘li’ and ‘di’,we realize that although they are closely related semantically,they are different in use.The fourth chapter mainly studies the Chinese line-based classifiers which are similar in meaning and usage.In order to further investigate,this dissertation selects five classifiers which are always being mixed by learners,namely ‘tiao’ ‘gen’ ‘dao’ ‘si’and ‘gu’,and investigates the semantic features and the differences of the collocation objects of these Chinese alignment classifiers.The fifth chapter mainly studies the Chinese plane-based classifiers which are similar in meaning and usage.This dissertation selects the four classifiers of ‘zhang’ ‘mian’ ‘pian’and ‘kuai’for analysis,and finds that they all have flat shapes,so some nominal components can be used interchangeably and collocated,but paper analyzes the semantic features and collocation features of these classifiers,trying to find the differences in their use.The sixth chapter mainly studies the Chinese cube-based classifiers which are similar in meaning and usage.Three classifiers of ‘kuai’ ‘tuan’ and‘dui’ are selected fou analysis in this dissertation,and it is found that they have strong stereoscopic property.Since the categories ted,but are related to each other,the semantic features and the differences of collocation objects between them are further studied.The seventh chapter mainly compares and analyzes the differences between shape-based classifiers and their corresponding Korean ones,for example,those to modify small sizes using ‘?(al)’ ‘?(tol)’ and‘??(bangwool)’;those to modify a bar of something using‘??(gadak)’ ‘??(gaebi)’ and‘??(joolgi)’;those to modify planar shape using ‘?(jang)’ and‘?(myeon)’;those to modify tridimensional shape using ‘??(jogak)’ ‘??(deongyi)’and ‘???(moodeogi)’.This dissertation first investigates the situation of these Korean shape-based classifiers and their nominal components.Secondly,on the basis of the nominal components with which Chinese shape-based classifiers are collocated,the dissertation further comparesthe range of using nominal components with Chinese and Korean shape-based classifiers.The eighth chapter is the conclusion,including the main content of this dissertation,the innovation spots and shortcomings.
