This paper studies the contents of abstract nouns and quantifiers, analysis the quantifiers matched to the abstract noun in HSK Grade level Grade A words, Grade B words and Grade C words and pursues the rule. In this paper we firstly analysis abstract nouns and quantifiers from the semantic angle, seeking both matching the immanent cause.The spatiality of the abstract noun is weak, relies on the quantifiers to display its spatiality, in counting abstract noun measure primarily, therefore often displays its quantity through the indefinite quantity word and the type classifier the characteristic. The classifier has the fuzziness in the semantics and the iconicity characteristic, the fuzziness characteristic and the abstract famous vocabulary righteousness's characteristic tallies, but the iconicity characteristic can by have the significance empty abstract noun formal expression.In previous studies, generally believed that the abstract noun and classifier matching ability is weak, the abstract often matched with the type classifier and the indefinite quantity word matching use, can't with the individual quantity.But in the case of abstract nouns and quantifiers with the inspection, can be found that abstract nouns could match with the most categories, including the types of quantifiers, indefinite quantifier, temporary quantifiers, evenindividual quantifiers, and in accordance with the conditions the formation of abstract nouns and quantifiers with the table. The matching types of the abstract noun and classifier can divide into table quantity matching, table type matching through the deeper analysis, so we can confirm the internal matching laws of abstract nouns and quantifiers with from the view of semantics.This content can be used in the study of teaching Chinese as a second language by teaching quantifiers from the semantic angle.We expected that this paper can have the certainly auxiliary function in the foreign Chinese teaching process, make students to understand the collocation of measure words better.
