The Spatial Inheritance And Contemporary Reconstruction Of Ancient Villages In Suzhou

This paper takes the ancient villages in Suzhou in Taihu Lake Basin as the research object.On the basis of literature review and field investigation,using the method of comprehensive research,from the perspective of space life,this paper explores the inherent relationship between the traditional life and space of ancient villages,as well as the degree of fit.As the main birthplace of the traditional beautiful life in the south of the Yangtze River,the ancient villages of Suzhou embody aesthetic consciousness in architecture,space,daily life,literature and art.Traditional space is inseparable from everyday life.Spatial characteristics can reflect the aesthetic value and practical process of residents.There are people's daily life experiences in traditional space.Protecting traditional space protects people's "nostalgia".Starting from the experience of living space and the aesthetic concept of space in ancient villages of Suzhou,this paper tries to analyze the composition and evolution of traditional space,understand the aesthetic significance of traditional space,emphasize the protection of traditional space,that is,to protect people's good life as the logical main line,and make an aesthetic evaluation of the whole social unit of ancient villages of Suzhou,so as to explore how to protect and develop them in the present era.Reflect the beauty of traditional space.Through analysis,the author believes that the beauty of traditional space lies in respecting the local natural environment,inheriting the complete cultural space and retaining the traditional way of life.Based on this point of view,the paper focuses on two issues:(1)how to return to this kind of beauty in ancient villages in today's society;(2)how to extend the beauty of traditional life to modern village life.The author believes that in addition to protecting individual physical examples,more attention should be paid to continuing the spatial image of historical context and increasing the communication space in traditional life.In addition to protecting the existence of these materials,we should pay more attention to protecting people's way of life and communication space.Based on this point of view,in the last two chapters,this paper discusses the significance of inheritance of traditional space and the methods of new construction and reconstruction of traditional space.It is believed that the protection or reconstruction of traditional space should take the people in traditional space and their way of life as important reference factors.Only in this way can people's way of life in space and their interpersonal behavior determine whether space itself is fundamentally or not.It has aesthetic value.We should protect people's right of aesthetic practice in traditional space,respect people's emotional needs for traditional life in traditional space,and improve people's aesthetic accomplishment in daily life.Through the research and discussion of this paper,I hope to provide some advice and suggestions for the protection and development of ancient villages,especially for the optimization of traditional life and space protection,so as to benefit the construction and development of new countryside.
