From the perspective of the concept of historical education and its changes,this paper investigates the utilization of historical knowledge resources by themes of different historical periods in the first half of the 20 th century and their interrelationship.The concept of historical education keeps pace with the times,which affects the practice of the implementation,content and form of historical education.Patriotism and enlightenment,saving the nation from extinction and striving for national independence are the themes of the times throughout modern China.Under the themes of different times,the concept of historical education in modern China has gone through the stages of transformation,transformation,diversification and integration.In different historical periods,people's understanding of the function of historical education depends on the present situation of the functions and relations between "history" and "education".Real positioning.In the late Qing Dynasty,"nationalism" became the core factor influencing the change of historical education concept.In the new era,the traditional training of history and the function of administration show the characteristics of transformation.Reformers and revolutionaries constructed "the nation" and promoted "group consciousness" from different perspectives.Political education,the dissemination of patriotic ideas,enlightenment and progress,and the cultivation of national consciousness have become the connotations of the concept of historical education.At the beginning of the Republic of China,shaping the people of the Republic has become an important part of the goal of history education.The goal of history education presents the orientation of social standard and student standard.Democracy,republicanism,equality,science,rule by thepeople,pragmatism and cosmopolitanism have become ideological resources that influence the content of history textbooks and the organizational form of history teaching.Shaping the memory of the national revolution is the theme of the concept of historical education under the background of the national revolution.Under the founding of the Revolution,with the strengthening of the national consciousness,the discussion of the subject of the revolution and the nature of the country has made the social political factions and the people's historical consciousness flourish.The definition of the connotation of "revolution" and the theme of its historical evolution reflect the most concentrated demand of historical knowledge of all parties and the masses.The Kuomintang and the Kuomintang government declared their orthodox status by revolutionary history,and shaped the internal relationship between history and the Three People's Principles.Under the background of anti-Japanese war and national salvation,the task of history education is to strengthen national identity.Nationalism became the core concept that dominated the concept of historical education at that time.The concept of historical education tended to be integrated.It either had the color of moral admonition,or encouraged loyalty and bravery,or advocated the education of great men.Although it was pluralistic,it was unified under the banner of national identity.It is especially necessary to explore the mechanism of interaction between the social,political,ideological and cultural aspects of the times and the concept of historical education.The specific value or practical experience derived from human historical experience excavation,remodeling and integration of innovation,and social and political themes are mutually generated.New political culture and ways of political mobilization have been shaped.Some universal values are further disseminated through history education.Throughout the ages,the theme of the times has shown great interest in reproducing history,and has a profound impact on historical discourse and practice.The concept of historical education has different connotations in different historical periods.Influenced by the themes of the times,some concepts have become the core factors that dominate the concept of historical education in a certain period.The concept of history education and its historical changes show people's essential understanding of the function of history education.
