Teaching materials play a vital role in the process of language education and are the most basic communication tools between teachers and students.Teachers use the teaching materials to impart knowledge to students,and Students in return receive then knowledge imparted by teachers through teaching materials.It is difficult to master a second language,and there is no exception for Chinese as a second language,one of the reason is that Chinese itself is a language that is difficult to learn,then during the learning process the difficulty is mainly caused by the compilation of some Chinese textbook,which can be unreasonable compare to the students Chinese language level,so sometimes both teachers and students will encounter problems during the process of teaching and learning.It appears that most of the teaching materials can not meet the needs of teaching,so teachers can not guarantee the quality of teaching,students can not cooperate with teachers' teaching process.This paper believes that the main reason for these problems is that the textbooks are not sufficiently targeted,and the pertinence of the textbooks will not only affect the main results and quality of the textbooks,but also affect the teachers' teaching quality,the students' learning effects,and even affect the quality and effectiveness of the whole teaching process.The pertinence of the textbook runs through the whole process of the textbook,such as the determination of the objectives of the textbook,the choice of the textbook content,and the arrangement of the textbook.In addition,teaching materials are mainly designed for the development of teachers and students.If the teaching materials cannot guarantee such tasks in the teaching system,the teaching materials will greatly lose the value of its existence.This paper mainly studies the preparation of high-efficiency Chinese textbooks for Madagascar Universities.The main target of this Study is the Confucius Institute at the University of Antananarivo in Madagascar.We mainly improve this research through literature research,historical research,observation research,comparative research and investigation.This paper mainly hopes to make some relevant suggestions for the preparation of Chinese textbooks for universities in Madagascar.In the process of conducting this research,we first describe the background of the writing of Chinese textbooks in Madagascar universities,from the new needs of Chinese teaching in Madagascar to the difficulty encounter with the Chinese textbooks selected by universities in Madagascar,and the description of the necessary conditions for the compilation of Chinese textbooks in Madagascar universities.Then,it analyzes the texts and usage status of the Chinese textbooks currently used in Madagascar universities: "Chinese Conversation 301 Sentences" and "New Practical Chinese Textbooks",which first describes the status of two sets of Chinese textbooks selected by universities in Madagascar,puts forward the use of teaching materials,and through the investigation and research conducted in this paper the use of Chinese textbooks in universities in Madagascar and proposed related reasons.Secondly,it will put forward the proper state of Chinese textbook compilation in Madagascar universities,pointing out the relevant goals of the relevant Chinese textbooks: according to the needs of Madagascar learners and the general goal of Chinese teaching,the content of Chinese textbooks,which should be selected before the compilation of textbooks,because it is necessary to screen appropriate materials,it is also vital to collect current Chinese textbooks used both in Madagascar and abroad,so that textbook' s editors can select the proper materials.It will also put out the proper organization of Chinese textbook content,and finally the appropriate form of texts in Chinese textbooks.Then this paper will propose a case about the compilation of Chinese textbooks in Madagascar universities,and choose to compile a set of Chinese textbooks that are common to universities in Madagascar,that is to say,Chinese textbooks can be used in both Private and public Universities in Madagascar,the other set is specially designed for the Confucius Institute at the University of Tananarive in Madagascar.These two sets of textbooks which are targeted,practical,interesting and scientific,are specially designed to fully meet the needs of Malagasy learners for Chinese language teaching.In order to increase the feasibility of this research,the current Chinese textbooks and written cases of Madagascar universities are compared,so that this paper can mainly give appropriate suggestions to the textbook editors and managers in order to compile Chinese textbooks for universities in Madagascar.
