This article collects the newly published inscriptions on bronze in Shang and Zhou dynasties from 2015 to 2019(partial collection to February 2020),which are mainly from archaeological excavation reports,mainly including the Archaeology,Cultural Relics,Archaeology and Cultural Relics,Jianghan Archaeology,Cultural Relics of Central China,Cultural Relics in Southern China,Acta Archaeologica Sinica,etc.In addition,inscriptions found in auctions and private collections published in publications such as the Unearthed Literature and Inscriptions and Image Integration Of Shang and Zhou Bronzes are also included.The inscriptions included are briefly interpreted and studied in combination with briefing notes and expert opinions.The article is divided into five chapters.According to the different areas where the bronze wares came out of the land,the article focuses on the unearthed areas and focuses on the newly discovered bronze wares in the same province.The first chapter arranges the newly discovered inscriptions on bronzes in Hubei Province,including important tombs such as Sujialong,Guojiamiao and Zaoshulin,etc.A batch of bronzes of Zeng,which are not recorded in the literature,have been unearthed,thus solving the problem of " the mystery of Zeng and Sui" and proving that Zeng which is seen in the inscriptions on bronzes is the country followed in the literature.The second chapter arranges the newly discovered inscriptions on bronzes in Shaanxi Province,including Baoji Zhouyuan Site,Liujiawa Rui Cemetery,Shigushan Shang and Zhou Tombs and other important tombs.The third chapter arranges the newly discovered inscriptions on bronzes in Shanxi Province,mainly unearthed Hengshui Peng Cemetery and Dahekou Western Zhou Cemetery.It discusses two States of Ba and Peng,which are not documented in the literature.The inscriptions on Ba are especially important,reflecting the important issues of salt administration,oath,dowry and Zhou's attack on Huainanyi in Western Zhou Dynasty.The fourth chapter collates the newly discovered inscriptions on bronze in Henan province,and finds Nanyang Xiaxiangpu e cemetery and several Shang dynasty tombs.The first two sections of the fifth chapter sorted out a newly discovered bronze inscription found in Beijing and Jiangsu respectively.The third section selectively collected inscriptions from new collections,auction collections,private collections of museums.After collecting newly discovered bronze inscriptions in the past five years,then studying the inscriptions on the bronzes collected,arranging the opinions of various schools on the interpretation of the contents of the inscriptions and summaring the contents reflected in the inscriptions.The article deals with the vassal states of Zeng,Rui,Peng,Ba and E,especially Zeng,Peng and Ba,which were not found in the documents handed down from ancient times.Thesenewly-discovered inscriptions on gold provide valuable information for studying the history of these vassal states.
