Promoting the cultural industry as a pillar industry has become an important plan for China’s national economic and social development.At present,the cultural industry has become a vibrant sunrise industry and an industry with high added value and high growth potential.In recent years,China’s cultural industry has maintained a good momentum of development.The cultural industry has become a new bright spot for economic growth in various regions.However,there are still some problems such as slow growth of cultural industries,insufficient capacity for independent innovation,and obvious regional development gaps in the process of development.Therefore,how to formulate the corresponding cultural industry development plan according to the spatial structure characteristics of China’s cultural industry in the new era,developing China’s cultural industry in the light of local conditions,forming a new source of economic growth in China is an important research topic.The main purpose of this paper is to establish a framework of cultural industry spatial structure based on the basic theoretical research,and to deeply study the spatial structure characteristics and dynamic rules,evolu tion mechanism,influencing factors and spatial structure optimization of China’s cultural industry.It has a strong meaning in theory and reality.The research content and conclusions include the following four aspects.First,based on the definition and characteristics of the cultural industry,we define the conception of the spatial structure of the cultural industry,conduct theoretical research on the elements,types and evolution of the spatial structure of the cultural industry,and establish a theoretical platform for the analysis of the spatial structure of the cultural industry.The study believes that the essence of the spatial structure of cultural industry is the projection of cultural industry activities in a certain geographical space,and it is an embodiment of its spatial attributes and mutual relations.The theory of heterogeneous evolution mechanism,point-axis-network development,ecological adaptation principle and spatial organization is the theoretical mechanism of the evolution of spat ial structure of cultural industry.Secondly,on the basis of the description of the overall development of China’s cultural industry,we construct a measurement index system for the spatial structure difference of cultural industries,in order to scientifically describe the spatial agglomeration state and spatial correlation of China’s cultural industry,we measure the attributes and interrelationships of China’s cultural industry spatial structure through the use of industrial geography concentration indi cators and spatial measurement methods.Research shows that the proportion of China’s cultural industry to GDP has not reached 5% in general,and the spatial structure of cultural industry has not been optimized.The overall concentration of cultural indus tries has a downward trend,the public welfare cultural industry has declined significantly,the concentration of business culture has not increased,and the regional differences in cultural industry development are obvious.This paper believes that the basic goal of the cultural industry’s spatial agglomeration development is to enhance the cultural industry’s agglomeration advantage through the integration of market factors,thereby enhancing the competitiveness of the cultural industry.Therefore,we pro pose a series of spatial agglomeration development optimization strategies,such as through the internationalization of cultural construction,to promote China’s cultural industry joining the international cultural industry division of labor system,and co nstantly improving the level of internationalization.Building a number of key industries in the province combined comprehensive strength and demonstration of strong cultural industries.Thirdly,regarding the cultural industry spatial structure as a dynam ic development network structure,we construct a spatial correlation matrix of 31 provinces based on the comprehensive evaluation index of cultural industry development,and use the social network analysis method to establish the evolution of the cultural industry spatial structure.Based on the characteristics of the overall network structure,we analyze the dynamic trend and evolution mechanism of the spatial structure evolution of cultural industries in time and space from the aspects of network structure evolution,network density,network centrality,and network block model.The research shows that there is spatial agglomeration in the development of cultural industry,and the evolution of the spatial structure of cultural industry has a central-peripheral evolution model.Through the QAP analysis of the agency network of the cultural industry development,we find that the human capital difference,the geographic adjacency matrix,and the per capita entertainment consumption difference of urban residents have significant significance on the spatial correlation of cultural industry development in 2012 and 2015.However,the differences in economic bases,differences in government policies,differences in per capita operating income of cultural industries,and differences in per capita fixed assets investment in cultural industries are not significant.Through the QAP analysis of the proxy dependent variable matrix of the cultural industry’s added value as the proportion of the national cultural industry,we find that only human capital differences,economic fundamental differences and cultural industry per capita operating income differences have a stable and significant difference in the spatial structure of cultural industries.Therefore,this paper believes that we should actively promote cultural consumption demand,adjust the cultural consumption structure,and realize the transformation of cultural consumption to multiple levels and diversification;make overall planning,strengthen the construction of cultural industry infrastructure,actively cultivate cultural consumption market;accelerate the reform of cultural system,establish and improve Innovative mechanism and competition mechanism,improve the investment and financing service system of cultural industry;strengthen the linkage function of cultural industry agglomeration in the spatial structure of cultural industry,promote the related development and structural optimization of cultural industry agglomeration network,and enhance the effect of cultural industry agglomeration development policies and measures;Eliminate administrative barriers and optimize the spatial structure of cultural industries through institutional innovation.Fourth,on the basis of the analysis of the coordination mechan ism of cultural industry development and social economic development,we construct an evaluation index system for cultural industry development and an evaluation index system for social and economic development to evaluate the coordination degree between t he development of cultural industry and the development of social economy.The research shows that the values of the coupled coordination between China’s cultural industry and social economic development in 2014 and 2015 are mostly between 0.6 and 0.8 which are in the process of primary coordinated development(IV)to intermediate coordinated development(III).It has not appeared with high quality coordinated development(I)or good coordinated development(II)provinces.This paper proposes policy recommendations for the structural optimization of the spatial layout of the cultural industry are as follow: Firstly,it is necessary to start from the coordinated development of the region and form a three-dimensional regional layout structure of the cultural industry.Secondly,government authority should combine the regional development strategy and incorporate the spatial layout of cultural industry into the regional economic development plan.Thirdly,focus on the overall network,we will actively strengthen the close relationship between the spatial structure networks of cultural industries in the provinces,grasp the characteristics of the provincial provinces in the network and the characteristics of “small groups” in the region,conduct reasonable regional positioning,and formulate differentiated and targeted cultural industry development policies,strategies and countermeasures.Lastly,in the value-added chain,the cultural industry cluster should be placed in a spatial layout,we should find a new space for growth that promotes development with culture and promotes growth with low carbon through the evolution of the cultural industry spatial structure.
