The study of Chinese semantic evaluation has always been of high concern,But as we go deeper into semantic research.But as we go deeper into semantic research,It is difficult for the original research theories and achievements to fully explain the particularity of semantic praise and derogation on the lexical level.There is still a certain research space and value in the issue of word meaning evaluation.How to define the praise and derogation of word meaning,what terms should be used to refer to the semantic features of commendation and derogation beyond the basic meaning of words,whether it has its unique combination characteristics and evolution path,how to present it in dictionaries,Is there any special relationship between the two semantic praise and derogation phenomena of words,The solution of these problems is conducive to the further study of semantics,At the same time,it has certain practical significance for lexicography and second language teaching,It is worth further discussion.This study involves synchronic and diachronic aspects,study the meaning of words in the overall coordinates of combination and aggregation,When dealing with specific problems,the combination of qualitative and quantitative investigation,combination of static description and dynamic investigation,combining classified statistics with comparative analysis.On the basis of full static description of language,it is supplemented by formal means,with the help of dictionaries and corpora,First of all,the research object is redefined and named commendatory and derogatory connotations,The main research contents can be roughly divided into two parts,ontology research and application research,The details are as follows:The first three chapters of the text are mainly about the ontological study of commendatory and derogatory connotations.Because of its complexity and particularity,In the past,in teaching or research,it was often carried out in the name of "conventional practice",Less targeted in-depth exploration.In this study,the corpus is the words with positive and negative meanings included in the modern Chinese dictionary,On the basis of full description of the corpus,To redefine and classify the meaning of commendation and derogation,And the forms and marks of its existence are classified and described,explore itsunique nature,focus on the hierarchy.On the basis of polymerization research,attempts to study the combination of commendatory and derogatory connotations,the different from previous studies,distinguishes the external and internal combination of sememe.From two aspects of sememe and conglomeration,this paper analyzes its combination characteristics,The combination of semantics and grammar.All the above issues are synchronic,mainly studies the characteristics of commendatory and derogatory connotations in modern Chinese,In modern lexical semantics.It is an inevitable trend to make a comprehensive comparison of vocabulary research,only when synchronic study and diachronic study are combined can we see the whole picture of vocabulary.In ontology research,The investigation of diachronic development and evolution is also the focus.With the help of corpora and dictionaries,based on functionalism,this paper focuses on the path and reason of the evolution of appraisal and disparagement,we found the unique evolution path of the unidirectional and the looping of the praise and criticism,From the perspective of language and non-language,this paper analyzes the motivation of the evolution of commendatory and derogatory connotations.The fourth to the fifth chapters of the text are the applied research of commendatory and derogatory connotations.Lexicography is the innovation and application of linguistic theory.In this study,in addition to the ontological study of commendatory and derogatory connotations,this paper focuses on the annotation of praise and disparagement,Combined with language practice.focuses on the reception,annotation and examples of the commendatory and derogatory words in general Chinese dictionaries and extroversive learning dictionaries,The fourth chapter mainly deals with ordinary Chinese dictionaries,makes a short-term analysis of the representative modern Chinese in Chinese dictionaries,Compared with the notes of versions 5 to 7,objectively describes the annotation features and the problems reflected in the dictionaries.At last,some reasonable suggestions are given.The fifth chapter mainly studies the annotation of praise and disparagement in modern Chinese learning dictionary and business library learning Chinese dictionary,As a representative of an extroverted dictionary,There are great differences between the two dictionaries in the number and way of marking,Drawing on the characteristics of the twodictionaries,This paper puts forward some suggestions on how to mark the commendatory and derogatory meanings in an export-oriented dictionary.
