Research On The Public Space Of Ideological And Political Education

Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China attaches more importance to the construction of Socialist Spiritual Civilizaiton and the cultivation of Core Socialist Values.Xi Jinping,General Secretary of the Communist Party of China,delivers a series of speeches on China Dream,Propaganda Ideology,Civic Morality,Ideological and Political Education in universities.He orders the whole society to further improve the civic ideologica and political education,in which the first step of this civic education is the public space.The dissertation mainly focuses the research on the public space of the ideological and political education based on the basic principles of Marxism,the course of ideologica and political education,sociology,the course of urban planning,cultural anthropology etc.The public space consists of the function and trait of the ideological and political education,through which the public can be expressed,inherited,educated and served legally.It includes many kinds of types and traits.Its essential trait is publicity,education and politics,while its non-essential one is listed as theme and value,history and epoch,absoluteness and relativity,abstractness and concreteness,timeliness and spatiality,explictness and implicitness.In the practice,the public space can discipline,educate and serve the public.In China today,great changes have been made in the development,construction,function and administration of the public space of the ideological and political education.However,many problems of the public space still exist because of the government,economy,thought and culture,administration.The problems of the specific public space are as follows:supply insufficiency,low quality,narrow publicity,poor educational function,homogenization,marginal status,commercializaiton,poor administration,while the problems of the non-specific public space are listed as:less completeness,formalization,abstract and empty content,labeled function,single method,loose administration.In order to deeply reinforce the construction of the public space of ideological and political education,one measure should be taken is to strengthen its production.The essence of this production is the spatial presentation of the strategy in the country's ideology,the explanation and continuity of the productive relation,the extention and expansion of the political rule.During the process of production,it should be arranged scientifically from the aspects of the state,city and community together with adhering to the principles of system,accessibility and particularity.Meanwhile,the other one is to reinforce its reproduction.The essence of this reproduction is its ordinariness,implicitness and educationization.During the process of reproduction,we should put forward the industrialization of the space innovative products,dig the space education resources,innovate the modern method,improve the space image.And also we should take actions to assimilate the ideological and political education into the public space involved in the traffic,city planning,business,entertainment and religion in order to realize the intergrated development.In order to further make the great importance of the public space of ideological and political education in the civic education,the establishment and management of the public space are very vital.With reference to the establishment of the public space,it includes the promotion of the events of the ideological and political education in the public space,the shaping of the symbol of the ideological and political education in the public space and the creation of the image of the ideological and political education in the public space.With reference to the management of the public space,it includes the scientific management of place,activity and personnel.At the same time,perspectives and basic principles on the construction and management of the public space of ideological and political education put forward by General Secretary Xi Jinping provides us the guidance and direction to strengthen,improve and practice the public space of ideological and political education.
