A Study On The Communist Party Of China's Thought And Practice Of State-building During The Liberation War

Establishing an independent,democratic,unified and prosperous state has always been the ideal pursuit of the Communist Party of China(CPC).Therefore,tracing the historical origins of the CPC's thought and practice of establishing a new country can help people better understand and serve national construction in contemporary China,thus facilitating the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.In particular,investigating the CPC' founding ideology during the War of Liberation as well as the interactive and united relations between its thought and practice is not only the most direct way to touch the CPC's founding ideology,but also the closest way to experience the tortuous thinking transformation from the mode of revolution to the mode of construction.The CPC's thought and practice of establishing a new nation state underwent three different stages of development during the War of Liberation,along with which three different founding forms showed up.The first period from the end of anti-Japanese War to convening of “fake constituent assembly” was the trial stage of deliberative founding.During that time,the CPC,in the international and domestic situation where the balancing relation of four countries in Yalta System and the dilemma of war or peace between the CPC and Kuomintan(KMT)coexisted,adopted the strategy combining national democratization with military nationalization,which aimed at building a democratic united government with the KMT in a deliberative way.However,facing the tension between ideal and reality,the transition government characterized with an “authentic people governance” essence proved an abortion.Then came the second period.The period from the convening of “fake constituent assembly” to the eve of strategically decisive battle was the stage of the CPC's independent founding.During this period,the relationship between the CPC and the KMT became “war without peace” and “peace for war”.Under the guidance of such logic,the CPC got rid of the KMT's influences: on the one hand,because of two democratic reflections,the CPC adjusted its only pursuit for power and carried out land reform as a way to explore the establishment of a new state nation;on the other hand,influenced by new economic policies,the CPC built a scientific and unified financial working system,which focused on economic construction.The last period from the eve of strategically decisive battle to the foundation of New China was the stage of the CPC's comprehensive founding.During this period,under the background of the Cold War between the United States and the Soviet Union,the CPC correctly assessed the situation and chose a proper way of founding according to the will of its own people and the historical trend.To be more specific,the CPC took a “lean to one side” foreign policy.In this period,the state system and the government form were set up and became mature,the executive organs became more specific and concrete,and the ethnic problems became alleviated.What's more,the critique of agricultural socialism reflected the characteristics of New China's economic system—organic combination of industry,agriculture and commerce,and consideration of both rural and urban areas,which showed the logic of making economy assist politics and the ideal pursuit of establishing a new nation state.In short,during the period of the War of Liberation,the CPC precisely grasped the pulse of the development of international and domestic situations,and adjusted its founding thought and practice to these situations.The CPC never stops striving for the goal of building a people's,unified,and industrial country.The founding ideology of the CPC is neither a copy of the Soviet Union mode,nor the complete realization of the default plan.Instead,it is a dynamic,meandering and complicated historical process.It is also an organic combination of the ideas of politics,economy,culture,law and diplomacy.It not only reflects the CPC's spiritual journey of pursuing a modern and democratic nation state,but also its continuous exploration and efforts for national independence and liberation of the people.
