The Kurds is one of the oldest nationalities in the Middle East and its population is more than 25 million,which live scatter mainly in Iraq/Syria/Iran/Turkey,and also a few in the other countries.The Kurds would obtain the high degree of autonomy by collaborating with the local ruler at the most time in history.Except some principalities,the Kurds never got their own nation.However,with the decline of Ottoman empire and Persian empire,the original system which the Kurds and the local ruler coexistence could not continue,especially with the national movement which influenced the Kurds deeply.However,within the era which is changing rapidly,the Kurds could not find their rational orientation so that they missed historic opportunity to establish their own nation and also been divided into four nations,which became “the relative minorities”.After the relevant nations got independence,they could not trust the Kurds and taken a lot of extreme national polities for assimilating the Kurds,including restricting the right to political participation/denying the national cultural right and containing the civic legal right,etc.For getting more political rights,the Kurds organized all kinds of national movements,therefore,the contemporary Middle East Kurdish problem is also becoming the one of the hot issues in the local.However,before the Gulf War,the Kurds national movement could not get so much substantive result,even if they were frequency and including the fierce armed struggle.This result is relative to the Kurds national characteristics.Because of the complex historic reasons and geography,the Kurds nationalism is serious lager than the other nationalities in the Middle East,which restricts the Kurds national movement development severely.At the same time,the Kurds national movement is also showing the characteristics that the leadership contending and the national cohesion being weak so that the Kurds national movement could not get the desired effect.But with the development,the Kurdish problem is also influenced the relative four nations' internal affairs and diplomacy.For example,The Kurds who lived in Turkey is the most in the four relative nations so it's affected the most.From independence,the Turkey's establisher Kemal considered that joining European is the only way that Turkey could achieve modernization.For this purpose,he reformed politic/economic/culture and developed the western strategy in Turkey.But the Kurds problem became an important obstacle to this strategy.On the one hand,Turkey government refused to confess the Kurds national identity and restricted their political rights.And the Kurds rejected the modernization and struggled to strive for their rights by serious way.Turkey government consumed so much energy on dealing with the Kurds problem;On the other hand,EU always taken the Kurds problem as the excuse to delay the process that Turkey joins in EU.Their difference is huge.What's more,the Kurds problem in Syria and Iraq is also tricky.Both of them adopted the strict national policy to the Kurds and the Kurds national movement is also frequency in these two nations,especially in Iraq.Although the Kurds who lived in Syria resisted easier than the others their political demands were promoting.Both nations' situation of opposing separation is serious.As the one of the relative nations,Iran is not only refusing to confess the Kurds national identity but also depriving of their basic rights.But with the Kurds' resistance,Iran's traditional discriminated national policy is undertaking more and more adjustment pressure.The war against the extremist groups in 2014 was so important to the fate of the Kurds.When International coalition could not contain its offensive,the Kurds was not only help stay mellow but also enhanced International coalition confidence.At this time,because of Russia military intervention Syria civic war and the difference between the US and Turkey being expended,the Kurds became an important factor to influence regional situation.With the situation development,especially with the tension rising between the US and Russia and the game intensifying between Saudi Arab and Iran,the influence of the Kurds to region is promoting.Energy aspect,if the Iraq Kurds autonomous government will cooperate to the Frozen Yield Agreement could influence its effect even impact Saudi Arab's status in energy field;Political aspect,the US and Russia are striving for the Kurds' support for the Syria political reestablishment process and the Kurds has also made the sectarian pattern of the Middle East more complication than before.Security aspect,the Kurds armed force has gotten so much military aid so that the comparison of regional military forces has been changed.Moreover,the security cooperation between the US and Turkey has also been damaged.Because of the limitation of historic material,the domestic research for the Kurds is only attracted on some hot issues.However,with the clear of the anti-extreme organization war situation,the Kurds problem would be more and more important.Researching the Kurds problem's influence deeply has the huge practical significance.
