In the past 40 years of China's reform and opening up,the achievements in economic development have attracted worldwide attention.Compared with Western countries,our modern enterprise system is not perfect enough,which also leads to the late study of our corporate social responsibility.Moreover,due to China's different national conditions,we cannot copy the existing theoretical systems and experience of CSR in developed countries.Specific analysis of specific issues is required.This paper mainly studies the impact of corporate social responsibility commitment on company performance and its impact mechanism.The research results are combined with literature analysis,empirical analysis and case analysis.The research founds are as followed:First,corporate social responsibility can improve company performance and promote business development.The commitment to shareholder's rights and interests,creditor's rights and interests,employee rights and interests,supplier rights protection,customer and consumer rights protection,and other stakeholders' social responsibility can significantly improve company performance.Corporate responsibility for environmental and sustainable development,as well as public relations and social social responsibility,can significantly improve company performance.The social responsibility of the enterprise in the current period not only has a significant positive impact on the current performance,but also has a positive effect on the company performance in the next two phases.Second,the reason why companies can promote corporate development because of their social responsibilities is that enterprises win the competition by taking social responsibility and develop by maintaining competitive advantage.The study found that as the degree of competition in the industry increases,corporate social responsibility can improve company performance.Third,the enterprise assumes that social responsibility is not as good as possible.The degree of corporate social responsibility bears an inverted U-shaped relationship with the company's financial performance indicators,that is,there is an optimal value.By examining the TobinQ and MB market-price ratio indicators of the degree of corporate commitment and marketization,it is found that the more market-oriented performance of corporate social responsibility is,the better.Investors in the market may think that the more responsible the company,the better the company.The degree of corporate social responsibility is based on the cost as an intermediary and has an impact on accounting indicators,while the relationship between market indicators is influenced by market effectiveness.Fourth,through the case analysis of four listed companies,it can be found that in practice,the specific work done by enterprises in social responsibility commitment is different,but in the end it has a positive effect on enterprise development.Through the horizontal comparison of the four case companies,mature enterprises are more perfect in the social responsibility system,and the cognitive and development level of corporate social responsibility is relatively low in emerging industries.In addition,through the case study,enterprises need to take social responsibility while also finding the right balance.This conclusion is consistent with the empirical analysis.Research on the impact of corporate social responsibility on corporate performance and corporate development is an important part of corporate social responsibility research and an important topic in the establishment of a sound public management system.The research results of this paper have practical significance for the relationship between corporate social responsibility and corporate performance to guide enterprises in practice to correctly understand the impact of corporate social responsibility.At the same time,the research results of this paper also enrich the research literature on corporate social responsibility and corporate performance.
