Research On David Harvey's Ideology And Enlightenment

Ideological work is an extremely important work of the Party,which build up the mind for the country and the soul for the nation.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core leader attaches great importance to ideological work and has made deployment for directional and strategic issues in the field of ideology.The overall and fundamental transformation of the situation in the field of national ideology has put forward new requirements for the inculcation and enlightenment of the dominant ideology of the society,highlighting the importance and necessity of theoretical research and innovation in the field of Marxist ideology.Focusing on the development requirements of Marxist ideology theory,aiming at the new changes in the struggle in the field of ideology,combining with the reality of social leading ideology inculcation and enlightenment work,this study takes the ideology of David Harvey,an important representative of new Marxism,as the research content in order to obtain inspiration and referential significance in the process of combing and inducing the theoretical viewpoints,and then expand the new vision and the new thinking of the construction of the socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new period.This paper studies the background,theoretical basis and stage characteristics of the formation of Harvey's ideology,and goes deep into Harvey's theory of Capital Accumulation,Emancipatory Politics Thoughts,Speculation of Political Philosophy and other academic fields.This paper finds theoretical perspectives such as the critique of capitalist political economy and the critique of capitalist political philosophy,digs to extract the main viewpoints of ideology with space as the core,clarifies the ideology of space and makes an ideological analysis of the general matrix of space.Based on the overall grasp of Harvey's ideology,this paper attempts to make a comparative analysis between its ideological thoughts and Marxist Ideology Theory.And from the basic standpoint and viewpoints of Marxism,research affirms Harvey's academic contribution in the innovation of the critique theory of capitalist ideology,the expansion of the critical perspective of capitalist political economy,and the enrichment of Marxist emancipatory political ideology.Meanwhile,it also points out the deviation in the interpretation of historical essence of historical materialism,the lack of judgment on the main body of anti-capitalist ideology,and the theoretical limitation on the simplification of urban spatial ideology.Overall,Harvey criticizes the capitalist ideology in the new period from the perspective of space,which provides enlightenment for us to cope with the more hidden and complex struggle in the field of ideology.His viewpoints on the definition of the attribute of space ideology,the judgment of the relationship between the space-time experience and the change of ideology,and the conception of striving for space justice,is of great referential significance for strengthening the construction of socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new period.Therefore,this study specially chooses "space" which runs through Harvey's theoretical thought as a new perspective,and makes new thinking on the construction of socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics in the new era.It puts forward as such: firstly,promote the spatial turn of Marxism,use Marxist theory to guide the practice of space-production chinization,and cultivate and practice the concept of socialist space justice,which is conductive to consolidate the guiding position of Marxism in the field of ideology and to build a solid foundation for the construction of socialist ideology with Chinese characteristics.Secondly,give full play to the initiative of space as a social force,strengthen the ideological and political shaping,publicity and education of space and highlight the meaning of ideological interpretation,promote and improve the leading role of socialist core values in space-production,embed the Party's correct proposition and the will of the state in a wide range of the planning and development of the "three living spaces" and this will help enhance all the people's sense of identity,sense of happiness and sense of benefit,strengthen the cohesion and leading force of socialist ideology and consolidate the common ideological basis for the unity and struggle of the whole Party and the whole people.Thirdly,in the spatial evolution trend,the spirit of struggle should be consistently maintained,actively respond to the more subtle and complex ideological attacks launched by Western hostile forces with the help of landscape society,space-time compression and mobile space,carry out the more artistic and strategic ideological security defense work,safeguard the "three rights" of the Party's ideological work,and grasp the time efficiency of propaganda and ideological work well,lay out the points,lines and surfaces of the Party's leading public opinion,adhere to the main position of socialist ideology,and win the initiative battle in the field of ideology.
